Bingo. She does not have her katana during this period, and that is, in fact, a machete.
She doesn’t seem to be letting that hold her back.
I really hope this game has some flashbacks to the main group if for no other reason than I’d love to see one-eyed Carl stylized in TellTale’s distinct way.

Do you not think this is set before she meets rick and Co?
It has been confirmed that this takes place after shes been with Rick and Co for quite some time. To avoid potential comic spoilers I’ll refrain from mentioning exactly where in the timeline it takes place but just know she’s already met Rick and Co. Odds are we won’t see many major comic characters other than Michonne, if any at all.
