“Promises Broken”
This week on TWD, we get a closer look at the Commonwealth as Ezekiel, Princess, Eugene, and Stephanie are put on work duty as punishment for breaking into the radio room. Their job is to kill all the walkers in surrounding buildings the Commonwealth might want to expand into. Eugene gets further into trouble when he unwittingly socks Pamela Milton’s son in the face after the ungrateful little shit calls Stephanie the b-word for getting blood on his girlfriend as she saved her life from a “rotter”. His only chance to get out of jail time now is to give up Alexandria.
Daryl and Leah go out on patrol for the Reapers and run into a man, whom they force to take back to his family. When they find his wife dying, they let him and his son go and mercy kill his wife. Daryl ALMOST comes clean to Leah when she gets a call from Pope and they have to leave.
Our last plot line is Maggie and Negan. After coming to an uneasy (temporary truce) their new plan is to cop the Whisperers’ style, infiltrate some walkers, and lead them into Maggie’s old hood to get the supplies from the Reapers. There’s a lot of talk between Maggie and Negan as they litigate the past. Negan is very honest when he says that given a chance to do it all over again he would have killed all of Rick’s group. He teaches Maggie how to be a walker and they’re able to round up a sizable herd and march on Meridian.
