God i fucking love this series. Best comic series out right now by a country mile. But kirkman has GOT to go back to once every two weeks. Once a month is PAINFUL after AOW.

129 and 130 are as well, and having looked at this page again, on the issue details, it says issue 131 is also 32 pages.

No doubt… the best comic series atm! Totally love it. The wait is frustrating but hey… if you want TWD to stay at this level, you need to give the creators time. I fear if they rush it, they might just screw it up 🙁

          • Bastet says:

Check these out. Awesome covers, but there is one thing about Dwight & Heath that ruined their covers for me: the torso. Women (& certain men) wear low rise, don’t they? Then Ezekiel…look at it a certain way & that shadow makes him look knock-kneed, not to mention that his belt is hanging low like he may have one of those jacked up torsos. Good covers, but it’s easier for me to see Carl holding his arm at a certain angle to avoid heat/flames & that he looks like he’s got protective gear on. So I like this cover better.

Now look at this frame of Negan in the latest issue. What is up with his ear? He looks like a Gelfling from The Dark Crystal!

I love Adlard. There are superb frames & covers & I really love the horses I’ve seen as of late. But I can’t help but feel that sometimes maybe he’s being pushed for time & some of the drawing suffers.

speak of covers, what did cover of 128 have to do with the story inside, maybe someone has already brought this up, but that cover does not relate to the story inside nor does the tag line of “after all this time . . .etc” a mean what s up with that!!

I think we’ve seen more of Jesus but for some reason, it seems Ezekiel has been more of a fan favorite…maybe because of Shiva. Jesus could make HC #11.

To be fair, Issue 114, directly before All Out War, was Jesus focused, so I guess they didn’t want to have him on it again too soon, perhaps?

They really need to release Book 10 and 11 together. They have 108 issues for hardcover out right now and by the time book 10 comes out in September TWD will be at Issue 131, there is enough of a gap in issues to release another hardcover right away. There is zero reason to hold back the hardcovers so much, especially since AOW is broken up between them.

I thought there was talk at one time, about giving us HC 10 & 11 at the same time. Maybe we get #11 6 mos. later instead of waiting another year (here’s hoping).
