EW continues with their great pre-Season 5 coverage of The Walking Dead. After shooting their Entertainment Weekly cover, Steven Yeun and Lauren Cohan took a few minutes to talk about their characters and the future of Glaggie…
When asked whether or not the couple was better off separate and free, or together and captured at Terminus, Cohan replied, “I think that really Maggie and Glenn are better together. Even if it’s the most perilous situation you know that they’ll find a way out of it — or at least you hope that they’ll find a way out of it. They spent a lot of time trying to find each last year — it’s like, no more!”
Steven Yuen agreed. “I think the preference is to be together regardless of whether the circumstances are difficult. At the least, you’re with the person that matters the most to you in this world. At this point, what your world has become — that is your world. Your world is who your with. The world is the people that you love. If it’s not with them, the what’s the point of continuing on?”

Although, the comic Maggie could start earning some points if she’s secretly harboring some anger towards Rick (remember when she was punching the hell out of him?) for what happened to Glenn & if she knows that Negan is still alive.
Maggie does know because the battle when negan broke ricks leg and rick cut negan took place at the hilltop and andrea and Maggie were on the fence ready to lay cover fire for rick and when they beouhj negan back in to patch him up rick said it out loud that he’ll be rotting in jail

He’s right….but she could feel some kinda way about that. When Rick came to the Hilltop, she seemed a little….standoffish, if you ask me.
Yes she did I agree I bet she blames Rick for Glenn plus doesn’t agree with that decision.
I don’t think so she announced that he saved them all and said “I believe in Rick Grimes!” Lol, I think at first she wanted to blame everyone cause that is an honest reaction. I could be wrong, but yo, what do you all think about this… Imagine if Negan escapes, gets to his old crew expecting to take over and Lead again only they want him dead, he flees, Dwight, Rick and Maggie team up to hunt him down just at this point maybe over a couple issues Kirkman gets us to start feeling bad for him (underdog syndrome) and just when he is showing redeeming qualities he is cornered by the Groups and Maggie is handed Lucille and she beats him to death!!! (I love the idea of him dying by Lucille! lol)
Maybe….but a woman has conflicting emotions & Maggie certainly proves it. I could be wrong, too….isn’t that just the awesomest thing about this comic?!

I’d have to say show. Nothing beats seeing the walking dead in live action and come to life on screen. Of course I love them both and i consider my self a WD comic fanboy before show fan because there are a lot of mistakes/injustices in the show and so far to me the comics have been perfect but like I said seeing Glenn & Maggie on screen is just epic. And in my opinion they’re just like their comic counter parts except for the fact that they’re both alittle more loyal to their group and more badass and capable in ricks absence.
I like the show Glenn and Maggie more .. Maggie not by much though I really like her comic character.
Yeah! I mean show Maggie’s voice is what kills it for me. Like when she yells “Beth!” Lol but other than that is like how she’s (show Maggie) is more loyal to rick and caring for rick than comic Maggie. Like on the show the characters are closer than in the comic. Maybe it just seems that way because episodes have more emotion, material and what not but i still love the comic more ;D
Do you think Cohan struggles a little with pulling off the accent?
I was wondering if people make fun of her for going overboard with the southern accent.
I can certainly say there are definitely people here who sound like that & even stronger, to the point of being hard to understand. I do get the sense that she struggles a little.

I’ve been told more than once that I have a Cajun accent. I don’t see it….AT ALL. I have a Southern accent but Maggie makes me sound like I’m from far North!
Cajun accents are really cool .
I mean it’s hard to say that her struggle is all too noticeable or anything because when you really pay attention she’s really just as good as Andy or Lenny (don’t worry I know Amdrew Lincoln & Lenny James are the greatest actors to ever grace this amazing show) but eh I guess there’s times when it differs or seems like she may be over doing it or like I’ve said at times her accent can get annoying :p haha but over all I think Cohan was for sure the right choice for Maggie, I just wish they have her the pixie cut and black hair like comic Maggie instead of the ugly hair style she’s had since season 2 and 3. Her S4 hairstyle wasn’t terrible but I’d much rather the pixie cut on Lauren. I meanLaurie Hilden had it in Silent Hill and she looked great! So imagine if Lauren got it- *EYE GASM*

Hey everyone! I haven’t been commenting here late because I didn’t want to run into spoilers for #130. Just read it then. What a shock! What is everyone else’s opinion on what happened?
There are people who have some sort of immunity that prevents them from enticing the walkers & if they’re careful, are not noticeable to the walkers unless they make sudden movements & loud noises.
Seriously, I have no idea. #131 – 134 can’t come quick enough!
I didn’t notice that. I’m still shocked about the zombies supposedly talking.
That was my off-the-wall spin on an alleged talking zombie…saying there was no talking zombie.
I don’t believe they are talking personally. More likely that some one is cleverly disguised amongst the walkers. But I’m up for whatever walker-related hijincks Kirkman throws at us.
I’m thinking he was just imagining it because he was starving.
They are probably people in disguise. Wouldn’t a zombie’s brain start decaying. They should begtting stupider if the case is that they are actually talking.
I am voting disguised among the herds are a clever group of survivors! Sounds awesome and I want to explore that for sure!
That’s probably the case. I would like to see some other supernatural things occur though like the zombies actually evolving and becoming more human.
