Much to our dismay, there was no Beth in the Season 4 finale episode, despite teaser posters implying we might see her. With her fate undecided for now, where do you think she’ll crop up in the 5th season?

beth has at this point learned from daryl, i think she will kill whoever had took her and got her own crossbow and went out to start her own group
beth’s singing bandits
I think beth is in one of those containers in terminus
Most of the containers appeared to be on the path towards Rick’s container. Wouldn’t she have cried out to Rick, Michonne, Carl and Daryl when they ran by?
Go back and watch the episode again, you can her others pleading for help while Rick and the group are on the run from the termites.
I know people are in the containers. Please reread my comments. What does that have to do with my comments about Beth being in one of those containers? If Beth was in there she would have cried out to them as they passed.
She is closer to the grill but in a container @terminus
She’s with Negans group and she’ll show up again whenever it is Negan will appear.
Not a bad theory. Do you think she will be one of Negan’s wives?
There was a theory that Daryl and Beth would :
*Never reach Terminus
*Beth wouldn’t be kidnapped
*Daryl doesn’t join Joe’s Group
and all of this would result in : Beth and Daryl joining Negan
And the result of that? Daryl would become Dwight from the comics and Beth would become one of Negan’s Wives
Would be a nice reference to the comics…
Although that theory is now crushed :/
That would’ve been a good storyline . Dwight is one of the most entertaining characters to come around for a long time. I’m really looking forward on seeing if he makes it out the war alive and who side he’s really on .
I think he’s on the good side. He’s got a reason to be. But then again, I got 3 more issues to go.
Now you are this far in the comic has your favorite character changed?
I still love my sniper, but I sure would love to see more of Jesus. Carl’s really growing on me, too. He just makes me think of a little Shane!
Yes Andrea is a crazy good character. She is probably my favorite character right now she is continuing to progress . I also like Ezekiel again.
I hope that means his grieving is over….man, I can’t wait to find out! #124’s being delivered today.
Ezekiel has no fear. He is king =)
What are your thoughts on Sherry ?
Hadn’t gotten to a Sherry yet. Got #122 here with me to read on my lunch break.
Sherry is Dwight’s wife right? do you think that is her on the cover after All Out War?
If Sherry is Dwight’s wife, I certainly know the story, just don’t remember reading the name. Are you talking about #127? Not sure about her but she looks like she’s gonna be an interesting one!
Yeah #127, I though it looked a bit like her from the few glimpses that we get of her? am not sure if it is her now, you have put doubt in my mind. lol
I’m leaning towards Lily Caul on #127 .
What?! You know I’m a HUGE fan of Lilly Caul! She could knock Andrea from the #1 spot….well, maybe!!
Lots of reasons I think it’s her this may be one the first times I have a correct prediction . I agree she is one of my favorite characters .
Oh, I sure hope you’re right!!
Lily (quick google search) ah Lily, so she is from the books and the one that killed the governor and from the books that i am yet to read, Hmmm could be interesting.
I’m liking the idea of a shared universe .
Found the frames of Sherry. If I had to guess, that is not Sherry on the cover of #127. I could definitely be wrong…could be wishful thinking for it to be Lilly instead!
Why I asked about Sherry earlier is because I was wondering if you thought Dwight should forgive her when the war is over or just be done with her ?
Given who they are dealing with, I don’t like it, but I think she did it for about the same reason that Carol in the show does her thing. The act of sacrifice is sometimes the ultimate proof of love. I’d love to see Dwight & Sherry back together.
I wonder if they will touch base in the comic about the Saviors that don’t participate in the war like Negan’s wives and the kids after everything is said and done . I hope they can get back together also to see that story unfold .
I’m curious to see where we go from here. You read the Letter Hacks? Something in one of those about big plans right after AOW.
I read the first one or two then I’m done I don’t know why I don’t finish them they are usually pretty hilarious.
I went back & looked at Lilly, too. I think this chick on #127 is new…something about her eyes.
Yes I did too they do look similar plus the number of the survivors is the same I think .
I’ll be going back through my issues when I get home, lol!
Yes she is Dwight’s and Negan’s wife .
I’d place a pretty hefty bet she’s with Gabriel. There are plenty of clues to suggest it leading up to the “kidnapping” if you have your eyes open.
‘There are plenty of clues’ Such as (consider me blind) ?
From memory cause it been a while and I only saw the episode once, but the house was on the ground of a cemetery, or next to one, someone close by was making dead walkers up to look more human, feels like something Gabriel would do to ease his conscious, also people are saying that the car that we presume Beth was took in had a Cross in the back. These are just the things that I think suggest someone friendly and as Gabriel came in to the books at around this point its not a huge leap, is it?
The thing that I couldn’t wrap my mind around is why cannibals would use food as bait. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of cannibalism & debunk the theory on the house being a trap?
Exactly !
remember when tyreese went to help those people screaming? one of them said to go to termunis because it was safe there. was he lying or was he just tricked by the signs? maybe people from termunis try and hunt them on the way too. that way the groups are more thinned out by the time they get there?
interesting theory, my initial though on it was that they had just been taken in by the signs too, but it would be a interesting spin on things.
has anybody mentioned that gabriel might just be gareth? gareth seems like hes a mix of gaberial and chris. maybe instead of leaving ppl outside the church to die, he let them in and ate them up. and was it me or at the end where rick meets up with everybody, did maggie look like she just got done crying? her eyes looked way different then usual. maybe when they got to terminus maggie noticed that mary girl wearing something of beths. then they started asking questions which led to them finding out what was really on there plates. that would explain maggie looking completely freaked out
Maggie did look pretty bad.
Well Remember in the Country club when Beth changed her clothes.
Maggie never saw her wearing those so thats not a huge possiblity
i didn’t really mean clothes. maybe they found her journal or something? i watched the episode again and Maggie for sure looks way worse then anybody else does.
There have been things remixed from the comics in the TV show. It’s definitely possible a Gabriel type lives at the house. There are a bunch of possibilities if you don’t make assumptions that the same person living at the house also is or isn’t the same person in driving the car. The car could be owned by someone different than the house and coincidentally saw and grabbed Beth. Regardless of the possibility, the logical thing for everyone to do is start looking for Beth at the funeral home.
Somebody from Alexandria, with no harm intended, snatched her when she was on the run from the house. She couldn’t do much with a hurt ankle. They made her get in the car for her safety & convinced her that they couldn’t go back for Daryl because he’s probably good as dead. She’s safe, probably having another drink, and will eventually see Rick and the group once they unleash the fury on The Hunters and make their way in her direction!
Just met her at the Emerald City Comic Con last Saturday along with Chad Colman (Tyreese) who by the way is Awsome! Had to almost interrupt him talking my ear off to get a word in edge wise. Asked about his face when Lizzie killed Mika and he said what you think he said but wasn’t thinking it at the time!
I just met Chad Coleman at Walker stalker con he is cool also got to meet her and watched her sing . What was the turn out like there ? Who else was there ?
I like Gabriel’s character this would be a great way to introduce him and bring back Beth in the process. Hopefully they try to save the others I don’t think she has made it to Terminus yet . Maybe Gabriel even knows what goes on there .
Yeah am with you on this one, I really think the signs were there that the house Beth and Daryl were in could of been Gabriel’s. and when he came back found his house over run with walkers and took Beth to protect her.
Now I don’t feel so alone in thinking that Beth was helped instead of harvested!
Yeah I always thought that she was ok, to be honest. One of my first posts when I first joined was around that episode and everyone was commenting that she was with the Hunters etc etc, And I just posted that I thought someone may of just been trying to get her to safety. I may of made the odd “Tainted Meat” comment but never really believed that she would fulfil that role.
I still got my mind set on Daryl being Tainted Meat. Who better to have earned that type of glorified death!
I dont know I just think that if Terminus is the hunters, (and to me it is still a IF) it would have to be someone that hasn’t arrived yet, so, Tyrees?
Indeed, to find Beth, Daryl needs to lead everyone back to the Mortician’s house.
I think Beth was rescued by a band of Terminus escapees. Who are in a secret location nearby and are gearing up and ready to lay the Smacketh Down on Terminus. Like Gandalf riding in the second morning to save the day!
Sure would love to see that happen!
I like it. It’s possible however I think the cross on the back of the car meant she was taken by the mortician or whomever was dolling up walkers for burial. That person doesn’t strike me as a Terminus escapee.
Hahaha love the Gandalf ref
She is in a different railroad car.
I hope she’s not being eaten by those Terminus cannibals. The Gabriel theory is a good one but I’m not sure wether or not they’ll actually introduce him…
She wants to concentrate on her music so this gives her a little break as story line can stay open and keep us guessing…
At terminus against her will
Other: The driver of the car was there for his runaway dog and never saw her. The driver recovered Fido and took off like a maniac because walkers. She dropped the bag when a walker accosted her and was hiding/running when Daryl reasoned that he could run down a car. With a bum foot, she reasoned she couldn’t run down Daryl and hid. Now she has to survive! And when she has to survive she uses what she learned from Daryl to make it to Terminus, find the gun stash, and save the day.
I agree.
The dog yelped at the door after it barked and there was no sign of it when the walkers were at the door. I suspect the dog is in the stomach of a few walkers. How does she know to look for Daryl at Terminus?
Well, the yelping dog does suggest it got killed but many dogs will yelp when they get scared (mine yelps when he wants me to pay attention to him instead of websites). Regardless, they suggested it died without showing it so I’m just saying its possible and I like idea of the dog surviving. Plus a good (imho) Fido reference in a board about zombies never hurts. If you don’t like the dog theory, the car could also have been returning to base and decided to come back later when fewer walkers were present.
As for going to Terminus it may not be pursuing Daryl. She may run into Tyrese and Carol, she may see the signs and give it a shot, or maybe she catches sight of Daryl’s group but can’t catch up.
It would be pretty cool if she used her newly learned tracking skills to find the guns and save the guy who taught them to her.
She is now a converted anthropaphagus
She is on the cover of 127?
No. Beth is not in the comics at all. Hershel had a lot of kids but Beth was never an existing one in the source material.
She’s probably food now, though.
She is in the shit. That’s where she is.
She was captured by umbrella to take out the red queen
She is singing at terminus. Not nowing what’s going on yet
Well Gabriel was my first guess when i saw the car, but it would kind or be weird, cause he never went out of his church since the “apocalypse” started…
So my actual guess is that we don’t care, we’ll never see Beth again. I like the character, but didn’t we expect from at least one of the main characters to leave the cast at the end of the season ?
You really think they’d let her just drop off the screen like Shumpert?
sadly, yep
Na, I think that characterization for her has picked up. She’s no longer in the background, if you ask me. We’ll see her again.
Agreed, Beth would need a bigger send off then just disappearing, I mean no one is safe, but i think it was on the extras of one of the DVD’s were Kirkman and the cast were talking about how they feel like they have to “earn” their death scene. so my gut tells me that Beth is still out there.
i hope so
1 Don’t know.
2 Don’t care.
In Terminus somewhere. Maybe even reluctantly a Terminus royal locked away in a building.
….I mentioned in a different post on this site (after she was kidnapped) that I thought we would see her again as a part of Negan’s harem.
There would be at least a whole season devoted to, “Where’s Beth?!”
She’s in a container at termunis
I honestly think, Tyreese and Carol will find Beth and Gabriel in the next session. I think, Tyreese or Carol will find the bag with the guns that Rick dig and Tyreese or Carol will notice that Rick and the others are in Terminus because inside the bag is Rick revolver and Tyreese or Carol will know that his gun.
“Carol, the big guy, left ear..” *Pow.*
I’m sure it was the person who owns the house, originally felt threatened by her/whoever was there… I know that she will find a way to convince them to keep her around/alive in general.
Season Five Speculation: Possibilities at Terminus
Possibilities:
Overall, there could be mixes between Railway car conversations
(scheming to get out and asking all those questions about where is Beth?
etc…); interspersed with scenes at Terminus with the Termites there;
interspersed with catching up with Tyreese,Carol and Judith.
#1: The way they could get the Terminus scenes is to take out a
character from the Train car as an intended victim to show Rick and
company who’s boss or to exact revenge for the death of Alex (although
they shot him not Rick.) This would create suspense (not to mention
anxiety from other members of Rick’s group) and show them being lead
through different parts of Terminus. This could be just to mess with
Rick and company’s minds or because they truly have some bad plans for
that person. The person who as been taken can learn more about ‘the
event’ that occurred at Terminus to cause the Termites to create the
memorial and through conversations with Mary or Gareth (perhaps in the
candle room itself.)
#2: Rick’s group can try to get someone out their car by creating
a convincing mock fight (like Jon Snow with Qhorin Halfhand in GOT) and
having the ‘problem person’ be removed from the train and held
somewhere else (so that person can spy on the Termites so they can
figure a way out of there.)
#3: Another possibility would be that Tyreese and Carol get into
Terminus the back way and Rick’s group spots them and calls to them and
they both sneak in and free Rick and company. What would concern me
about Tyreese and Carol is if they run into Maggie’s signs (if they have
not been washed away by the Termites.) If they see Maggie’s signs they
might go in through the front door of Terminus and get captured.
#4: One of Rick’s group could already be there as a Termite?
Perhaps Beth, Morgan, Tyreese or Carol agreed to the Termite credo and
they are already on premise chowing down on portions of Terminus
arrivals and maybe they can be converted back to helping Rick and their
group escape?
Once they get out will they just escape? Or will they burn down Terminus, kill all the Termites and free all the captors?
If the Hershel part of Rick still exists he will want humanity
not to have to deal with this group that runs Terminus anymore, but
preserve its apparent intention: Sanctuary…
It would take a lot of ripping down of signs all over Georgia to
keep people from arriving there, so the best way to handle that
situation is by defeating the group at Terminus and installing the
captors as the new group. They would then help Terminus arrivals
instead of harm them.
Rick’s group could then either stay or go with Abraham, Eugene,
Rosita and Tara to DC. If they leave than I suppose they could look at
Terminus as a possible safe haven if DC turns out to be disastrous.
Rick probably would leave with Abraham if there wasn’t anything
left of Terminus after they defeat the Termites. However, finding Beth
first would be a priority (if she ends up not being at Terminus.)
That might entail living and traveling in a much bigger group
because there will no doubt be captors that will survive the Rick versus
Terminus battle that will want to follow Rick.
I think beth is with the people in terminus.
I believe she was kidnapped by a the owners of the funeral home. There is good money in that business. There is probably what’s left of the family who owns it living in a nice big house that’s either in a gated community or a gated property that walkers can’t get into easily. As long as you keep the number of walkers trying to come through down, your good. But they probably need women. They want to try and have a small community but need women. They made the funeral home a trap to separate any women from the men keeping them alive. We’ll see Beth again when they open the trunk of that car and let her out.
I seriously doubt Beth’s with the saviours or in alexandria etcetera.. cause there’s just no place for them yet, Terminus and the zones after the prison are still Georgia. Father Gabriel’s guess is cool too, and something makes me think that maybe she wasn’t kiddnap at all, is just how the situation was shown, maybe the car was just pasing and she when with who ever was driving or maybe I’m just wrong lol. Will see in October.. CAN’T WAIT
she is with father Gabriel, they will finish off the cannibals story arch then hit the road. On their way to DC they find beth with father G. DONE FINSHED END OF ALL THIS NONSENCE TALK. Shes not dead and darl is not going to eat a piece of her, if anything she going to get bitten afterwards and then Maggie will feel she lost everything .THEN and only then try and commit suicide. They still havnt done that part yet…..however Glen did have his fight with Abraham early on this season so maybe they wont do it? eh who am I kidding ive been right on every episode so far.
I think to that she is in one of that containers
Well she was in Joe Carols cult on the following but that didn’t work it so well
Probably hid in that crap place Terminus.
I think she was taken by someone from the Terminus, her bag was there on the road when the car drove off…. I also think the house is a ‘trap’ for travelers, all the food was new (no dust on it as Daryl pointed out) and the dog then let the terminus people know when the trap was full, they then let the zombies out to scare the people out of the house to then be either ‘rescued’ or ‘kidnapped’ by the person in the car… The walkers don’t see the dog because it’s covered in their smell I’d say…
She’s playing gospel tunes for Father Gabriel’s revival tour. Can you say RISE UP!!!! Oh yeah…. nevermind.

My sister and I are hoping that she will escaped and gets joined up with Carol and Tyrese and they will help save the others from Terminus
I think she’s with Father Gabriel. It was a pretty obvious sign from the show to let us see that white cross in the back of the Caddie. And now in the teaser poster of Season 5 you can see Rick on the reflection of a stained glass window (a church maybe?).
There are a lot of references for the appearance of this weird character from the comic books.
I think she joined a group for her own safety and Daryl found her.
Other: Beth grabbed her stuff and Daryls bag of earthly valuables and limped out in the night. There the mortician living at the house grabbed her and shoved her in the car, her loosing Darlyls bag in the process. The mortician, which is revealed to be Mallard from NCIS, drive away in full speed whilst Beth plead him to stop. After a round trip in the countryside they return to the church. Daryl managed to terminate most of the walkers before he went on his marathon run and as such Beth and Mallard only have to take out a few walkers before they can seal of the entrance to the house.
Ducky has become more of an eccentric then before the apocalypse and is now bordering insanity. In his withdrawn existence there has not been a lot of entertainment and he welcomes Beth at the piano. Here they sing Tom Waits songs and drink red wine.
Her foot heals quickly and she grows restless. Roaming around the woods close to the graveyard she works hard to perfect the tracking-skills and survival techniques taught by Daryl. She finds a splitting axe in a shed outside the church and starts shopping wood and walkers. Quickly becoming well trained. She has a close call with the walker of Ivan Drago but manages to come from it alive, unbitten and unscratched.
One evening while Beth and Mallard is swapping war stories he tells her about the Terminus camp. He had a visitor named Mark about six months earlier that got bitten in Mallards parking lot. Before he turns Ducky promises to short circuit his brain and embalm him. While they wait the visitor tells him a story about the Termites.
They were a sect that had the unfortunate pleasure of becoming acquainted with the twin-brother of Philip Blake aka Joe Carroll. As the story goes it ended in a big loss of friends and family. They made a memorial for the fallen and set the strategy for the future. Swearing to never trust an outsider again. Their leader at the time was Fox Mulder which had gone seriously of the deep end. Convinced that most people but them selves are alien shapeshifters they set up a camp to lure them in and deal with them there. After a while a conflict raises between Fox and Mary, which in fact is Janeway from USS Voyager sent back in time by Q. Mary is convinced that most people are skin-walkers and not shapeshifters. As such they can force them to turn themselves into cattle before they get slaughtered for the BBQ. The big secret, the … Mark said, before he finally gave up and drew his last breath.
Terrified that her friends can been lured to Terminus Beth promptly packs her belongings and rushes out in the wild to find them. With the diary in one backpocket, revolver in the other and the ax over her shoulder the scene is set for the next adventure.
