Shit is going to hit the fan!!!!!
Damn you 7 month wait !!!
how exactly are 6 or 8 people going to take over armed armor vested people in the hundreds lol
I doubt there’s more than 40 or 50 of them.
theres maybe a dozen
Rick is ready to fight to survive & he knows his group can go at anything hand to hand.
He’s came a long way since last season.
They have been and continue to be conditioned for a fight! These hunters have brought on hell & just don’t know it yet!
Hell yes!!!!!
Why oh why do you make us wait 7 months?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! You are cruel, evil, and dastardly!!!!!!
There ought to be a law…
Season Five is going to be epic. I think Carol is going to play a major role in taking the Termites down. I’d love to see that happen. Melissa McBride is an outstanding actress, and they’ve demonstrated time and time again, she’s willing to do anything for her family. I can’t wait to see Rick and Carl’s reactions to seeing Judith alive, and Rick’s reaction to Carol, knowing that she’s been traveling with his daughter and keeping her safe, and traveling with Tyreese, who was ready to murder whoever killed Karen. Shit’s going to go down and it’s going to be awesome. October is too far away.
I’ve been thinking about this. When Rick sees that Carol has been keeping Judith alive, he will be grateful, but very conflicted too. Remember, Carol kills people who don’t fit in, or are inconvenient. She’s judge and assassin. From Rick’s perspective, who knows when Carol will freak over changing a diaper and suddenly shoot Judith in the head?
Are you serious? Karen and David was very sick. To save your family one might do the same! And if you would have lived with Lizzy after the fact then you are just as nutty as her! Rick will be conflicted but your take on Carol is just wrong
I said Rick would be conflicted because From Rick’s Perspective he banished her because she kills people, and he specifically said he didn’t want to entrust his kids (or any children) with her. My post was about how Rick feels about Carol.
I’m guessing Rick’s going to change his tune about Carol real quick. Real. Quick. Besides, she’s strong, beautiful, and just his age. They’re going to make another baby, is my prediction. Michonne seems too independent to couple at this point.
Nope, that’s not her character at all. She takes care of what needs to be done, to protect her family. Carol only killed Karen and David, who, as far as we know, were minutes away from death and could have been begging for it anyway, because she was trying to prevent the sickness from spreading, knowing it could kill other people. As far as Lizzie goes, she didn’t have much of a choice. She did the most humane thing there. Lizzie was unstable and there was no way they were going to make her comprehend the consequences of her actions. At the end, Lizzie wasn’t apologizing for killing Mika or for being about to kill Judith, she was apologizing for pointing the gun at Carol. There was no way they could have kept traveling with her. They could have just left her, but that would have been cruel, and she would most likely sooner rather than later, be bit by a zombie and either turn or be eaten alive.
Hopefully Judith will make it for a Grimes reunion. Considering what Rick just reverted to protect Carl and the fact that Tyreese forgave her, I think everything between Carol and Rick will be fine and no one will have a problem with Carol.
Maybe Judith won’t make it and rick will blame Carol and she will go to the side of the terminites…. there has to be something like that go on… nothing ever goes smoothly for these guys!
That’s an interesting take on things. I thought of four possibilities that could happen at Terminus:
#1: The way they could get the Terminus scenes is to take out a
character from the Train car as an intended victim to show Rick and
company who’s boss or to exact revenge for the death of Alex (although
they shot him not Rick.) This would create suspense (not to mention
anxiety from other members of Rick’s group) and show them being lead
through different parts of Terminus. This could be just to mess with
Rick and company’s minds or because they truly have some bad plans for
that person. The person who as been taken can learn more about ‘the
event’ that occurred at Terminus to cause the Termites to create the
memorial and through conversations with Mary or Gareth (perhaps in the
candle room itself.)
#2: Rick’s group can try to get someone out their car by creating
a convincing mock fight (like Jon Snow with Qhorin Halfhand in GOT) and
having the ‘problem person’ be removed from the train and held
somewhere else (so that person can spy on the Termites so they can
figure a way out of there.)
#3: Another possibility would be that Tyreese and Carol get into
Terminus the back way and Rick’s group spots them and calls to them and
they both sneak in and free Rick and company. What would concern me
about Tyreese and Carol is if they run into Maggie’s signs (if they have
not been washed away by the Termites.) If they see Maggie’s signs they
might go in through the front door of Terminus and get captured.
#4: One of Rick’s group could already be there as a Termite?
Perhaps Beth, Morgan, Tyreese or Carol agreed to the Termite credo and
they are already on premise chowing down on portions of Terminus
arrivals and maybe they can be converted back to helping Rick and their
group escape?
Oh no way… When Judith’s diapers are a potential threat to the group maybe. But Carol has never been shown to be Lizzie psycho so your stretching a bit
I thought this episode would’ve been stronger if (sorry) they killed Daryl. Daryl going out while defending his friends from his new group would’ve been the epic death he deserved. Going out as a loyal badass, because at no point in the comics, was Rick’s group ever as stacked as it is now. I mean, he’s got Tyreese, Daryl, Abraham, Glenn, Michonne… In the comics, his right hand men usually go, and the group’s vulnerabilities are then exposed until a new one steps up. The only muscle we’ve lost so far is Shane. I feel with the line-up he has now, they’re unstoppable. However, it was a really solid finale. I love the whole Terminus Cannibal story arc, and how the Hunters were adapted into the Marauders. Season Four definitely made up for the atrocity that was Season Three. I hope Gimple stays on for a long time, because he respects the source material and makes great television. AMC should’ve let Rick say “fuck” at the end though. Even a bleeped “fucking” would’ve been so much more epic! Loved the cliffhanger ending.
Good cliffhanger as to be expected.glad Rick stepped up finally.it’ll be tough to make escaping there train car believable but I have faith.haven’t been disappointed yet
I bet they find a way out of a trap door in the floor and get over the fence back out into the woods and get that bag of weapons Rick hid.
well first of all …where is BETH…aha…ya I know huh ? she’s gona be a surprise attack ..
and second ..Rick is on it… he is a whole lot more in the right sense of mind now that he’s discovered how far he will go to save Carl…
Okay question during the mayhem when they are being shot at while running through the courtyard and they run by the storage container and a girl yells for help, anybody else think it might be Beth in there???
I was wondering that too…or was it a decoy to trap them like rabbits in a snare?
I think Beth is with Father Gabe.
Me too… or at least with someone who means no harm. Maybe even already with the Alexandria crew.
Maybe the house Daryl and Beth were in was a trap by the “Termites” all along, and she was kidnapped by Gareth. The house was just a little too perfect for me, it was too convenient.
That’s a good point @jenlabutcannon:disqus and @gabrielleharter:disqus . Beth wouldn’t have run off so quickly without Darryl. Also, her bag was left behind like it was ripped off (not just dropped). I originally thought the dog was some type of trap. The first time they are on guard, the second time Darryl (who I think is more careful than anyone except may Michonne) swings the door wide open. Also, Who is Father Gabe?
Yeah it was a little too weird that the dog was there right before all of those walkers showed up, if Father Gabriel is a good guy that means no harm I’m not sure he would bring a herd of walkers with him you know.
I dont think he brought the walkers, i think the termites did but Father Gabe was watching and waiting, i think he may have already had a run in with them already.
Oh I didn’t even think about that, that’s a really good point. This 7 month wait is going to absolutely suck!
Im sure we will meet him in season 5! He’s a good guy.
boiler up 🙂
Hammer Down!! 😀
I doubt it. There was more than one voice. I’d bet the farm she is with Gabriel so unless they have both of them in there, it’s probably not her.
I take ut im not the only one who noticed the cross on the back of the car that took Beth huh?
Was kinda disappointed with this season finale. Just didn’t seem “Thought through” enough for the characters. I don’t know. And that last line by Rick.. Smh… really?
It pretty much followed the comic, more or less.
And according to the comic, Terminus is going down! HARD!
Ya think Rick’s bloody now… ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
Oh i see pure carnage coming, i bet Rick borrows Micheonnes sword for a scene or two.
Think about it….Rick buried the gun bag with his python, extra bolts from Daryl’s crossbow, and who knows what else. Carol, Tyreese and Judith are heading to Terminus. Think they’ll go in “the back door” like Rick and Co.? Maybe stumble upon the buried bag and know from the contents that it’s theirs? Then play it smart, hang out and watch, figure out what’s up? Then somehow try to save them? I know Carol and Rick parted badly. However, after Tyreese forgave her, maybe she’ll in turn be able to forgive Rick. Just a crazy theory! 🙂
Carol and Tyreese save the day I like it .
I think it won’t be them stumbling on the weapons but rather Rick and the gang getting them at some point themselves.
I gathered by the powdered milk cartons on the floor that Carol, Ty and Judith are probably already there?!!?
omg
No. The milk shows that they were fattening up their lambs for slaughter. Skinny apocalypse survivors need to be fattened up before the BBQ
Are these people meant to be cannibals?
Yeah i think so, did you notice how they had weird looking bulgeing stomachs and when they were herding rick to the train car did you see the human skeletons stripped clean of all flesh?
I didn’t that but it makes sense.
Yeah a couple of them had weird looking stomachs and there were some crazy skeletal remains that the meat had be picked off of with surgical precision.
They picked those bones cleaner than any of those walkers would.
Oh yeah thats for sure, it was obvious in my eyes after seeing that, that these people are the cannibals. Plus there were people in conex boxes yelling for help.
Rick is going to overhear Judith crying and break the train car like a badass and kill everybody, only to realize Carol already killed everybody days ago.
Lmao i hope Rick tears one of their throughts out like he did to Joe.
Lol! Too bad they don’t have comic Andrea!
Oh man Comic book Andrea is a hard core chick, she’s brutal!!
She’s my favorite comic character, hands down.
Yeah shes awesome, i like Carol but when i saw Andrea go down and Carol stay alive, i died a little inside lol.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I was hoping Carol would take that act up… she’s badd but she ain’t no comic Andrea!!
Lmao Carol is like a kitten compared to comic Andrea!
Michonne runs a pretty close second. She got a really good start when she showed up in the comic but then she kinda faded in Andrea’s shadow. I think I like the show version better. I’ll be glad to see Carl in the show harden up!
Yeah im ready to see Carl turn stone cold again in the show as well, i wanna see him shoot a Termite in the face like he did to that kid in the woods. 6 months is too long to wait! Ugh.
I’m going to be checking out that Telltale game… it’s the only thing I have left that I haven’t drowned myself in.
Same here, that actually sounds like a good plan lol. I hate the waits between seasons soooooo much.
The Telltale Games are amazing. Make sure after you play Season One, you play 400 Days before playing Season Two. The game’s intense, dramatic and full of twist!!!!!
I ordered the Game of the Year Edition… I think it has that extra content on it. I hear a lot of good things about the game! I was thinking that maybe this is what next year’s companion spin-off series is supposed to be about. Thanks for the tip!
Rick and crew are going to kick ass and take over terminus and create a real safe haven for all that come!
If I were them I’d burn that place to the ground. I don’t think I could live there knowing what went on there lol
I hope they make the trip to DC! Im sure they may stay at Terminus for a day or two though, maybe during that stay they will pick up a few more to add to the group.
Really like how Ricks character evolved to meet the situation in a Jekyll and Hyde sort of manner. Also the flashbacks ,especially with Herschel, showed him how to cope and his actions gave meaning to the words (such as you can’t just be a farmer, survival means being what you need to be at the time.) Carl is evolving that way too. Time to see if raging Rick is back and will lead like he can and unleash some whoopass!
Things dont look good for the citizens of Terminus! I see a brutal slaughter coming, and i see Rick brutalizing their leader.
with a magic finger
No with a sword, i have a feeling he’s gonna borrow you know who’s sword.
Something to Fear: The Ricktatorship!
There is going to be a backlash to Gareth threatening Carl, I mean you saw what happened to the last guy that tried to hurt Carl, not a smart move Gareth, not a smart move!
Rick knew something was wrong from the beginning . . . he has something set up because of that. . . the million dollar question is what did Rick do to help them out. . .
I think that with in terminus Beth has become part of that group … and that she’s be the one helping them out ….and somehow she will get the guns to Rick. He will tell her where the guns are buried and that’s when Tyrese and Carol will be in ….on the outside will somehow get the guns to them ……
Was not all that it was hyped to be. I do like the twist from the comics version to change things up, but as far as fanales go, not all that great.
I honestly don’t know how I’m going to make it 7 months! I’m a Walking Dead ADDICT!!!!!
You read the comics/novels?
I haven’t yet but I’m going to start tomorrow! !!!
THE ABSOLUTE BEST WAY TO WAIT FOR SEASON 5!!!
If you have not read the comics, do it. lol they are great.
I’m starting those tomorrow! !!
You will love em, if you think the show is good your in for a ride with the comics.
I started reading the comics too. I’m up to 32. I have never read a comic in my life and I am 47! But I love TWD comic. I read it on YouTube. A Facebook friend of mine kept on me to read them and finally sent me the link to them on YouTube. I’ll read those and watch Game of Thrones. That should help with the wait!
The novels are good, too. The Governor’s POV & the POV of a chick named Lilly who is also a cool cat.
I absolutely loved this episode, it was packed with action and sooo emotional. I loved the flashbacks to the time between season 3 and 4 that we didn’t get to see, and seeing Hershel again brought back so many feelings. So many great scenes… Rick’s realization that something was a little hinky with the “Termites”, Michonne and Carl talking about her son, Carl feeling like a just another monster, Rick and Daryl’s brotherly love, and as intense as it was the fight with the “Claim Gang” it followed the graphic novels almost to a T. The only downside was no Carol, Tyreese, Judith or Beth in this episode. Some closure would have been good, just knowing whether they were still on the run, already at Terminus, or if they are even alive… Beth. Oh well still hands down one of my favorite episodes this season, and definitely the best season finale yet. Plus most of the cast is… reunited, and it feels, soo good. Sorry I saw an opportunity and I took it. Can’t wait until Season 5 premiere… and the count down begins.
hehehe
C’mon! Bring it, chickie! Whatcha got?
here we go: all my favorite TWD memes:
here we go:
I think the Termites are cannibals. Where did the steaks on the grill come from? There are no cows or livestock. That may explain why they weren’t killed and herded into the freight car. Anyone else consider this possibility?
You’re exactly right!!!
I think almost everyone figured out that Terminus is home to “The Hunters”. And Gareth is a better version of Chris! At least I hope they did if they are true Walking Dead fans lol
definitely revealed that in the running scene toward the end you can see human skeletons picked clean, what they didnt say is the plates of meat being handed out were Beth.
7 months its a way far away after this epic episode ….
god helps all OX
Loved the cliffhanger ending.
I’m going through TWD withdrawals already :/
That was the tearjerker at the end…seeing the credits roll.
so true
Loved season 4 the most I’ve watched every episode as soon as it airs including season one episode one premiere on Halloween night! The season four finale not my favorite, it left on big cliffhanger to many unanswered questions, the season did a nice job of sticking true to the comic and tieing up loose ends like tyrese carol situation and the prison mystery with Lizzie and the rats. All In all season 2 finale and 3 are still my favorite finales! This was like season one so I hope the season 5 premire will make up for this season finale.
This was the most epic of all of the finales by far, season two was good, but come on! Rick tore a guys throught out with his teeth lol.
I just dont agree, it wasn’t god awful or even terrible just not my favorite, I actually kimda knew the throat ripping was coming because I read the comics and this season stayed pretty true to it, with a few character switches maybe had I not read them I would’ve enjoyed it way more, it was exciting I was screaming at the tv cheering yeah go rick when he did it. I just didn’t care for the cliffhanger ending on Beth’s wearbouts. I loved how we didn’t have to wait to find out if glen Maggie sasha bob or Abrahams group got ate.loved how they ended up stuck together that was good. I do believe beth is with father Gabriel moses
We were left wondering about Merle in season one! There is a difference but not much of one, and heck Merle was absent for a whole season, that being said maybe Beth will be absent for awhile as well.
I actually think you are right about this, I believe beth wont be brought back until the mid season finale in December.. grr…I hope not, yea merle was cliffhanger but we really only got to know him one episode when he went missing and he was a ass, plus he ran off himself, beth on other hand we’ve known for two seasons and she’s sweet as pie plus Herschel daughter so her cliffhanger got me more than merle. Also I dont loke how the last few episodes maggie hasn’t mentioned one single word about beth or asked her whereabouts to any of the others only glen? What’s up with that? She was only concerned with Glen. I have loved every episode to date just wish this one could have been a extra five ten minutes longer to explain a lil more, but I love it either way!!
Did you also notice how rick stares at tara in the crate, and maggie turns and looks at her then rick and says these are our friends they saved us. He knows tara was with the governor iam excited to see how that comes out since glen didn’t tell maggie.
Let’s not forget that Michonne could possibly ID Tara. I didn’t think about it, but another poster (props to “Dawn”) mentioned it elsewhere on this site.
When the cocky leader comes to their door they are gonna grab him and use him as a hostage to get out and if that don’t work, well rick could always go psycho and rip out their jugular, causing a scene while some of them try to escape . I’m sorry but I just want to see him bite another motha lovin a-hole.
Me too! I would so love to see that again! In my opinion that was the best scene in the show so far, second place is when he shoots that little walker girl in episode 1.
Lots of Cannibals to take out. Should be a action packed season 5.
Rick is finally back and I can’t wait to see how everyone is gong to get out of this situation.
The only thing that was unnerving to me in this finale is the lack of emotion shown when the two groups were joined in the train car. I’ve seen warmer welcomes when they returned to the prison from making a run. Here we have groups of people…more than just one or two…and one group containing their leader… I would have at least expected for Maggie or Sasha to come forward and give a hug or something. I know that they’re in a harrowing situation, but they didn’t know whether or not the others made it out alive and now they’re back together. That should give them more hope than they had before and they know there’s strength in numbers. Should have been some sense of relief, at least, and that’s not even talking about Maggie’s total lack of concern for Beth!
So true she hasn’t said a word about Beth . If it was me I would’ve yelled and ran up and hugged my friends .
Perhaps they’re all in shock. If they know what terminus is, then they’re both seeing their hope (the rest of the group) fade away. And yea @disqus_fGjM4pg2ec:disqus , Maggie seems to assume her sister can’t have survived. How would you feel if you were beth and you see all these signs that say “Glenn, go to Terminus – Maggie”?
If I was Beth, I’d still try to find her, but when I do, I’d boss her around: “No, Maggie! YOU do it! We all got jobs to do & I ain’t the one!”
If I was Beth I would feel abandoned even betrayed being alone can mess with a persons head . I would wonder why there wasn’t signs up for me .
Daryl and Rick were sitting outside of the car talking. Neither was in shock. They were conversing just fine.
“Oh, and that goes for you too, Beth.”
And when Rick asked about Beth, Daryl said she’s just gone. Daryl didn’t say why or how she was gone and Rick didn’t ask. Really??? That’s poor writing. Beth is Hershel’s daughter and I don’t believe for one minute Rick doesn’t care about her welfare.
I agree, that was a weak line and one whole episode devoted to Beth-Daryl bonding and all he says is “she’s just gone”? I’m sure they’ll argue something like Darryl’s feels so responsible for losing Beth he couldn’t tell Rick what happened.
Perhaps Daryl felt ashamed that she was taken from him/he lost her. So instead of going into details he just said ‘she’s just gone’. Leaving a bit of hope alive as well instead of saying ‘she was kidnapped and I don’t know where she is’.
Even if that was the reasoning behind what Daryl said, Rick would have asked him to elaborate. And we as the viewer shouldn’t have to try to figure out what Daryl’s reasoning is.
I can’t figure out why we’ve never heard from Daryl what he thinks has happened to Beth. Does he think she was kidnapped? Did she just take off?
I love TWD and I’m not hatin. I just see a big difference in season 4 from the other 3 season’s. The shows first two seasons were amazing. The last two not as much. But I still love the show because I love the cast and I’m not ready to give up on it…yet. 🙂
Maybe but that doesn’t answer the question why Rick acted like he could care less that the daughter of a man he loved, was just gone. I don’t buy it and never will. I want TWD to go on forever and if things like this keep happening, it won’t. I’ve read so many comments of people saying the show has went downhill. And my own daughter who loved the show and was the one that turned me on to it, doesn’t even watch it anymore 🙁
So, hopefully they get their heads out of their ***** and get the show back on track.
Has anyone thought about Terminus?? I think those people are cannibals and luring survivors there to eat them. That place seems “too good to be true” from their posters…” sanctuary for al”l. Reminds me of the cannibals in the video game “The Last of Us”.
I think that Rick is patient and he knows that Darryl will tell him when he is ready. I think Darryl said “she was just gone” because he just really doesn’t know what happened.
I could see Darryl being too guilt ridden to elaborate on Beth’s disappearance. He’s also not known to be real wordy. He conserves his words like he does his arrows.
I always assume that some dialog occurs off camera. It was a busy episode.
Rick and Daryl sat outside the car and were talking. There was plenty of time for Daryl to say “Beth was Kidnapped” or “Beth took off”.
I don’t see it as poor writing. None of them has had time to process anything. Rick was a little busy keeping his son safe and getting reacquainted with his savage side to worry about Beth.
As I said above there was plenty of time for Daryl to say Beth was Kidnapped or Beth took off. Apparently Rick was worried about Beth because he asked about her.
You make some very valid points .
Thank you. Like I said in my other post, I love TWD. I’m not hatin. I just want the show to go on as long as possible. Not just for my love of the show, but my love for the cast as well.
So, I hope the powers that be, whoever that may be, get their A game up.
The point of him no asking is to show that Rick has completed the full transformation from farmer to neck bitting animal in order to survive. If you asked him the same question the day before you would’ve gotten the old Rick concern but, it’s a new day folks! Thanks goodness because the group is going to need the new Rick in order to get out of that cart.
Believe I understand what you mean, though I read it somewhat different. During the time after they fled Hershels farm and roamed the woods for 8 months + the time there after they grew close. Really close.
They are both people that likes to think before they talk. Ricks reprimand on Carl after he was ugly to Carol in the “Judge, Jury, Executioner” episode was an early underliner on this point.
Rick shows how hard it is to even ask if Beth is alive. When Daryl respond with she’s just gone I read into the situation that Rick reads more from that statement then if it was delivered from a stranger. He know the language of Daryl and more to the line what that means. Yes, it is very likely Rick asks more about it later, but in that moment he also reads Daryl good enough to not probe.
Perhaps they’re all in shock. If they know what terminus is, then they’re both seeing their hope (the rest of the group) fade away. And yea, Maggie seems to assume her sister can’t have survived. How would you feel if you were beth and you see all these signs that say “Glenn, go to Terminus – Maggie”?
I completely agree! Both my daughter and I said the same thing. While I love the show, the writing isn’t even close to the writing in seasons 1&2. In fact my 16 year old daughter who loved the show and got me into it, has only watched a few episodes this season. She doesn’t like the way trick you into thinking something bad is going to happen and then pull back. Example when Daryl and the group went to that store where the wine rack fell on Bob, there was a walker trying to get Glen. The walker could have bit Glen immediately, yet it just kept grabbing at him. Gimple and his crew better step up their game. I’d hate to see the walking dead go the way of True Blood. I loved True Blood. Then Allen Ball left and it was over. I’ll continue to watch the walking dead because I love the cast. Especially Andrew Lincoln. He’s an amazing actor. Not to mention easy on the eyes 🙂 but I do hope the get their A game back up!
I dropped True Blood, too.
I miss it so much. But it became something I didn’t even recognize anymore. I have the first 3 seasons on DVD so I’ll just watch those.
I made it through the 1st 2 seasons, then it just got too hokey for me.
Finally someone who agrees with me. Get rid off Scott “The Gimp” Gimple.
They need Frank Darabont and Glen Mazzara back.
Mazzara OK, Darabont THE MAN!
AMC really screwed Darabont. He’s now suing them. And it was all over money. The show makes so much money, that there’s enough for everyone. But greed reared it’s ugly head. As usual.
I partially agree and partially not. All the show runners and writers have made some bad mistakes.
Dale’s death? Really? Alone in the dark, no backup? That was Mazzara & Nicotero. Andrea’s painfully slow and stupid death to the point that even the guy that is going to kill her is like, “Hurry up, dumba^^!”
Rick, Carl & Michonne are in a car and not one of them notices all the walkers suddenly surrounding the car until they pound on the windows? It is called “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” and “Hyper Vigilance” and two years into the ZA every survivor has it. The sudden unseen walker is a terrible cliche this far into the show. You get to the point where every shadow is searched and the slightest movement draws attention.
And my complaint about the “Goodbye Speech” that started back with Dale… Beth got her long speech, even said, “You are going to miss me when I am gone Daryl Dixon”. *sigh* I wish real life worked like that.
I agree with you on Dales death.
your rite about that no one showed them self being happy to see all of them together again.
I agree. Me and my daughter said the same thing. Rick was like you’re here. And that was it!
I agree on the lukewarm reunion.
I was going to argue with you that being herded into a boxcar by gunfire would dampen and supersede any joyous reunion… until you mention Maggie and Beth. Hmmmm. I am also totally thrown by Daryl not telling Rick what happened with Beth… just not normal irl or for the characters.
I think with when Carl nearly gets raped was too far.
No way! They stayed true to to comic book, and to me that is awesome! The show has to keep it PG most of the time but this time wasnt one of those. I wish this show would have been on HBO though so the writers could have made it even more like the comic.
damn straight the comic was much much more graphic, and really built up Rick to the point of eating another mans throat. That scene and Rick’s last words of the episode are a nod to the comic readers. As a reader im looking forward to Ricks climactic payback.
But there is no Andrea!!!! who is that good of a shot to do the “pointing” scene!??? I cant wait for Abraham Michonne and Rick to rip the hunters apart with their bare hands!!!
Maybe they work Tara up for that memorable scene.
Yeah, I’ve been wondering all season who was going to be able to take Andrea’s role over with the TV group. While some things can be reworked for the immediate situation (although resulting in less badassness), some situations a little further down the road require someone to be sniper quality. Bastet may have it right with incorporating Tara to that role. I was also thinking Rosita may be a logical choice as well.
I’m hoping it’s Tara! I like her!
I really dont see Tara being the one to do that in such a short time, do u guys recall Tara EVER shooting her gun? If it had to be any one i think it will be Maggie. She has had a couple scense like the guy she shot in the watch tower during the Govs first attack on the prison (in season 3) and when Hershel was tryin to take the breathing bag off of that zombie to save Glenn and Maggie did that epic slow motion head shot(in season 4) i dont think they put those scense in there slow motion for no reason, i have had a feeling that Maggie would replace Andreas Marksmanship and Michonne will replace Andrea as Ricks love interest(after he loses Jesse and Ron of course :D)
EDIT: or mayyyybe after Negan outs Glenn Maggie and RIck fall for each other??? MIND BLOWN 😛
That’s a good point, but if the show’s keeping Tara, they gotta give her something to do. Maggie & Glenn’s story is bound to go in another direction, i.e. maybe one getting killed off & that other thing that we comic readers know about!
I was upset that he couldnt have said the F word though.
Walking Dead was meant for HBO….. why didnt they say yes when it was first pitched to them ;(((((( easily potential for 10 plus years of tv
Yeah it woulda been sooooooo much better on HBO, maybe wouldnt have gotten quite as many viewers but it would have been way better.
For the record, since I got bashed for my take on the missing F-bomb, I’d sign up for HBO if it was there. It would be FANTASTIC in all it’s brutal glory. And my kid would NOT be watching it!!
I have a feeling that those decapitated soldiers with “Rapist” and “Murderer” tags on them, and that “Rich Bitch” zombie in the country club are foreshadowing Negan and his gang. Do you think he’ll show up in season 5?
who would play Negan? He always makes me think of Patrick Warburton
I really liked this season, just not this episode. This was Rick’s story, why wasn’t it told when everyone elses story was told? They had 7 episodes to do it, Daryl got his story, Glenn and Maggie, even Bob had an episode about him! Why did Rick need to be the focus of the final episode instead of Terminus/finding everyone? Rick was so NOT the focus of this season, the Hershel flashbacks did nothing but set up season 4’s beginning.
C’mon Gimple, this had the potential to be the best season.
quoting RK here.
“That’s what this season is, it’s all about Rick going from this
farmer—this peaceful human being who has turned away from violence and
found this sanctuary—to losing that and by the end of the season
becoming harsher and more violent and more deadly than he’s ever been
before. ”
also this episode was ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to the development of Rick and Carl
face palm
I never said it wasn’t essential, I’m just disappointed so much of the episode was about Rick and not about what the hell is going on at Terminus.
7 months :*( lol
Little bit surprised Rick didn’t enter Terminus on his own……in case it was a trap. The way the group has been used as a ‘punching bag’, I wouldn’t trust anyone anymore!
I hate summer
One of the reviews with Kirkman and Gimp, http://www.tvguide.com/News/Walking-Dead-Season5-Spoilers-Kirkman-Gimple-1079817.aspx, said Terminus is just one of many stops for season 5. I think Terminus will be an episode or two of badass-ness. How will Carol and Tyreese take them out with a baby on their back? I think Beth is gonna show up too, she’s becoming a badass herself, but perhaps she’ll take care of Judith and Carl/Rick will find her alive after taking Terminus down. If she were dead, we would know. @disqus_qdHpVuoaXc:disqus I agree, the three are gonna help tear it down, especially Carol. Rick reached a new limit – seeing his son at the verge of being raped made him snap (if that’s possible any more at this point at the end of the world). Which human have we seen take someone out like a walker?! What “thoughts” does Carl have in his mind that make him “not the person his dad thinks he is”? That same review said we cannot assume Terminus is about cannibals. Whatever! When have we seen more than a rabbit’s worth of meat on this show (besides the pigs)? Also, as they are running around “A” we see a pile of skeletons with remnants of flesh still on them, not burned, definitely picked off or eaten. I think the vigils are more of a sign of a cult – convincing themselves that eating people is ok if they give them some kind of memorial. But I like that they “keep us guessing”. I know 7 months is too long, but I look forward to a bit of rest because this show stresses me out! The characters are so well developed over time and situations that you are invested in their well-being! It’s the only show I don’t wait till the end of the season to binge watch.
I agree very much so, with your last 4 sentences!
Beth will come and save the day and bring some white lightning to celebrate with!
Let’s see they go from zombies to running into a bunch of crazied cannibals!
Those cannibals are about to be slaughtered in a very gruesome way.
Good I thought I was the only one watching that noticed what was going on..lol
Found the finale actually pretty weak in plausability dept. When did Rick become a vampire to be able to a lethal bite to Joe’s neck like that? 5 “bad asses” armed with guns get the drop on recovering Rick, a boy, a girl and Darryl (Who is getting it handed to him) and get wiped out in a flash without even getting a shot off. Hmm…Well I guess who knew Rick was a vampire right?
They pretty much gave away the storyline Terminus is about with the pile of human carcass laying on the floor. Also the herding them to the box car thing seemed pretty unrealistic. They sneak in unnoticed yet a small army springs up on roof tops and around the fence in seconds and a bunch of wasted bullets to herd them toward a boxcar? Pretty dangerous and costly way to get take them captive.
Dear Greg Niotero,
Your special effects group is amazing and then once in awhile there is the odd thing that is so unrealistic it surprises me. The scene with Rick biting Joe’s neck brought this one to my mind again. You need to stop using necrotic burgandy zombie blood for shots when alive people are getting attacked. Fresh blood is oxygenated and much brighter red. The closeup of Rick sitting down the following morning looked more plausible.
I think it is finally about time that Rick gets fully serious with all
the sick fucks in this post apocalypse that have completely eliminated
humanity within themselves. I look forward to Rick and the group taking
all those cannibal bitches to school.
I fully agree with what Kab said about how Carol has been keeping his daughter alive, especially when he told Carol he did not trust her around his children. I really love Rick but he made a very misguided error kicking her out.
Carol is going to save the day and rejoin and regroup the group….but she’s going to let Rick continue to run the show. Tyrese is going to die saving Judith
The season finale is my favorite episode thus far. Rick continues to surprise me. He has always been the strongest character. There was a revealing dialogue I loved that was had between Rick and Michonne. The next day after Rick bit off that guys throat and gutted the other dude who tried to rape Carl, Michonne tells Rick that she is okay. Rick tells Michonne that he is okay as well and Michonne affirms that she already knows that. Curiously, Rick asks Michonne how she knows and Michonne responds with, “because I’m okay too.” The last time Rick’s sanity was questioned was due to Rick seeing his ghost wife everywhere and talking with dead people on the phone.
This was not one of those times.
Rick new what he was doing and he did not waver. Equally important, his sanity is not questioned by his friends either. They will follow Rick and trust his judgement till the end no matter how long or short that may be.
Now I must respond to @disqus_snfPz6cxAM:disqus. Rick’s group literally went from out of the frying pan and in to the fire. Just because they happen to find out that they are all alive does not change the circumstances they are in. We don’t know how long Glenn’s group has been in that train car either. Obviously not too long but long enough to think all is lost. There will come a time for Maggie to ask about Beth, but why out Maggie like that? You might as well raise the question of why Sasha didn’t ask about Tyreese either. It was not meant to be a reunion of questions of those who are missing, but a reunion of those who are present.
Plus, you don’t end a season finale like that with giddy feelings.
Also, did you see Rick’s face!? It was nothing but fury. Sister or not, I would not ask that dude for a stick of gum, let alone if he had seen my sister!
I have to disagree with you when you say that Rick’s group went out of the frying pan & into the fire. WE are aware of that (& ONLY because of the comic) but THEY aren’t. Just being held captive in a train car does not top what all they’ve been through with The Governor. I also don’t feel they’ve been in there long, because they are some of the strongest & smartest people and I can’t see them just standing in there for a length of time without trying to get out. BUT if they have been in there for a while, all the more reason they would be relieved to see not just other captives but almost the rest of their group!
And we’re talking about reuniting with RICK…their leader, the one who has saved their asses countless of times, the one who’s given them all hope at one time or another, the man who has kept on going despite his losses and has encouraged the others to do the same. The one who has held them together and kept them alive. You can’t tell me that they are so shell-shocked to be held captive in that train car that they can’t even acknowledge Rick! And Carl, a child who is growing up with them.
Rick was furious, but he wasn’t crazed like he was after Lori’s death. He was approachable. Personally, I would have shown him love the moment I realized who it was!
I didn’t mention Sasha because she hasn’t been optimistic. She was one who held back, leaving Bob to run after Maggie. She wasn’t like Maggie, who convinced herself that yes, Glenn’s alive & she’s going to find him. She was at that point like Daryl, when she felt that all was lost & there was just nothing left. She could have asked about him, but the reason I diss Maggie so hard is because ALL of her enthusiasm was for Glenn…sparing none for Beth!
As for ending a finale with “giddy feelings”, I get that. But it could have been worked in right before Rick’s moment & would have taken less than a minute to make things feel more realistic.
This was meant to be more than a reunion of those who are present. They are FAMILY!
We are going to haveto agree to disagree on this one. While the Governor was always a force to be reckoned with, the threat is somuch greater from Terminus in every way imaginable.
Let us compare.
The governor was a monster who did horrifying acts to survive. Even some of his men did horrifying acts per his orders. Yet the majority of the Governor’s group were clueless to what was really going on. Now we are dealing with a new group of people who are all on the same page of what they have to do to survive…eat the living.
Terminus is better prepared than the Governor’s town as well. When Rick’s group surprise attacks Woodbury and bust Merl and Daryl out, the Governor mopes around for the majority of the next episode due to how vulnerable his town is. Rick’s group goes in to Terminus and goes against a group who are well organized. So organized in fact that the people of Terminus lead Rick’s group towards the train car and has them locked up.
Also, the Governor was never able to go as far as what Terminus accomplished against Rick’s group. The Governor failed his war against the prison with two battles. The first battle led to the Governor’s people running scared and as a result, the Governor putting a bullet in most of them. The second battle resulted in a destroyed prison, but most of Rick’s core group got out and the
Governor was killed.
Yes, Rick’s prison group was always the underdog in comparison to the Governor, but Terminus is a deadlier force. So when I say Rick’s group got out of the frying pan and in to the fire, I mean it.
Moving on.
Do not mistake the comment I made about Rick’s fury with crazy. I even made it a point to bring up Rick’s past crazy experience only to say that Rick’s recent actions is that not of a crazy man.
Rick’s focus is on planning how they are going to get out. The writers of the show wanted to end the finale with the audience knowing that Rick will reclaim the leadership role. The time of the council is over.
I also believe Glenn’s group has not been in that train car for so long but not because they would have found a way out…it’s a train car. Unless the writers of the show desire to give Glenn Hulk-like powers, I do not predict how one gets out of a metal prison with no windows and a metal door looked from the outside. I don’t even think they had lights in their new confinement. Since humans are on the menu, Terminus would want to keep people alive but not for too long. If
Terminus keeps them alive for too long, then their food would get scrawny. I would imagine that meals would not be worth it. On the other hand, if they do keep them alive for a long period of time, the people of Terminus would have to feed their prisoners and if they are going to great lengths to survive by means of cannibalism, then I doubt they would pursue such an option.
Moving on to the reunion scene.
I agree with you when you say the writers of the show could have added some sort of emotional relief to the reunion scene in the train car. Where I disagree with you though is in not doing some sort of “emotional scene” takes away from the ending. Given the time constraints of what we saw of their reunion, there was only one way to end it and that is with Rick’s plotting mind and his expression to the group of how the people of Terminus messed with the
wrong people. We will see them take comfort that they were reunited in the upcoming season. But I can wait for that. What I wanted to see from that moment was the new Rick. Like I said earlier in this comment, the time for the council is over and the time for Rick to lead has once again begun.
Your move @BASTET Haha!
That last line was suppose to end with @disqus_snfPz6cxAM:disqus
I can certainly agree to disagree. After all, that’s what good debating is all about! 😉
I agree that a group of people united with one purpose in mind is a greater force to be reckoned with than a group of manipulated people who were unaware & unprepared. But what you’re comparing is the PAST with the UNKNOWN…not for us but for Rick & the group. They have no idea what Terminus is. The Governor, although all ducks weren’t in a row, did substantial damage to their sanctuary and to life. They wouldn’t be jumping out of the pan into the fire with Terminus until things get going & we see what type of damage is done…at Terminus. This point was brought up to argue why they wouldn’t have had a more emotional reunion, which is to say that they were so devastated by Terminus that they couldn’t be emotional and that’s just not the case. As of now, they’ve only been locked up in a train car.
As for escaping the train car, there are possibilities of ATTEMPTS, provided they’ve been in there a while. When S5 returns, I’m sure we’ll see at least one attempt. What I was trying to say is that if they had been in there a while, I’m sure Terminus would only BBQ one at-a-time, therefore, they’d have to either provide something (water) to sustain life or open the door to get food, one person at a time. I can tell you now that if they had tried to open the door, they would have been met with the force of Abraham, with Maggie right behind him! Then there’s the wits of Eugene…ever seen the movie “Escape Plan” with Sly Stallone? There’s always a weakness, always a possibility.
As for “…not doing some sort of “emotional scene” takes away from the ending.” I didn’t say that. I said, “Doing that would have empowered Rick’s moment.” Which is to say that it would have made a good ending better. It would be more realistic to have these people approach each other with the awe, relief, and happiness that they are alive and that they have found each other. Remember that moment when Rick, so long ago in S1, came around the vehicle to discover his newfound group consisted of Lori, Carl, & Shane? That’s the emotion that was missing! And yes, I can make that comparison because they are all family, just as Rick stated to Daryl. They’ll connect with each other, like you say, but that moment of release has passed.
I sure would like to know how you go about linking my profile…if you could take a moment to fill me in before you hit me hard(?) lol.
haha! Hey @disqus_snfPz6cxAM:disqus all I’ve been doing is hitting the @ sign on my keyboard. I then just start spelling out your username. Your name comes up right when I enter the letter B. Then I Just select it.
In theory, this should work. but it chooses to work when it wants too.
Yeah, I’ve been trying that & it doesn’t work…just like it obviously didn’t work this time for you! Oh well! Thanks for responding, tho!
i.m worried not about our characters in the tank, but about baby Judith, Tyreese and Carol, where are they, and than that tara charactar, Michone was very close, Maybe she will regornize her from the slaying of Hershell (sorry for my bad english)
but i found a awesome episode 🙂 i hope s05e01 is a badass Episode !!!
although ricks final line was cheesy to all hell
did anyone else notice the juicy rack of human ribs in the chase scene?
We still don’t know what the title of the episode means ‘A’.
The one clue we have is as Rick’s group was ricochet escorted into
their train car holding pen, the A appeared along the path; on the sides
of building walls; ultimately on the train car itself.
Carl mentioned that he was really afraid of what his father might think
of the monster he really is. What does he mean?
The reunion moments with Rick and most of group felt a little weak.
Neither group seemed happy to see one another. It’s understanding
considering the circumstances, however they could have at least hugged
each other or showed other signs of emotion. Was it done this way to
make everyone look broken? Perhaps to give Rick’s final words more
uplift.
Why didn’t Daryl go in specifics about Beth? He just told Rick she was
gone and that seemed to be okay with him. I understand that if Daryl
would have told Rick what had happened (step by step) he would have gone
to the mortician’s house to try and pick up the trail rather than go to
Terminus. I suppose they will go to the Funeral parlor after leaving
Terminus and then head with Abraham up to DC (if they all make it out of
Terminus okay.)
That is the million dollar question!!! I’ve commented several times on this topic. Why didn’t Daryl say what had happened to Beth. Was she kidnapped? Did she run off? Why didn’t Rick ask Daryl to elaborate? Beth is the daughter of Hershel, a man Rick loved and respected and he just doesn’t give a rats ass that she’s just gone??? I don’t buy it.
I have a feeling its one of those things that strikes a serious chord with a person, Daryl losing Beth like that. Maybe Daryl’s never cared about someone so much or even truly loved someone and will try to do anything to block that memory out of his mind because it brings out emotions he cant control, example joining Joes group(and he wasnt happy at all when that one dude was saying some bitch has you all screwed up in the head and that she wouldnt last long out here). He brushed Carols advances off too many times for me to think he truly loved her in that way, but more like a sister and it seems like he is almost at a loss for words when trying to explain it to Rick, feeling extreme guilt that he couldnt protect Beth.
Who knows for sure tho maybe we will get insight in season 5
I’m buying it.
• Abraham is very strong willed. Will there be a struggle to lead the
group between Rick and Abraham? Two alpha males and Abraham has a very
rigidly defined mission. Will Rick go with Abraham to DC?
Eugene has to offer something more compelling to Rick then ‘it’s classified’. A bunch of them were at the CDC: Glenn, Carol, Rick, Carl and Daryl so they have already spoken with a scientist.
• Eugene behaves nothing like Dr. Edwin Jenner, so part of me believes they won’t take everything he says seriously.
• We also don’t know specifically what Dr. Jenner said to Rick.
Rick did indicate he said they were all infected with the walker virus,
however may be there was more.
• If Rick speaks with Eugene maybe the remainder of what Jenner
said will be revealed and either confirm what Eugene knows or refute it.
Perhaps it will turn out that Eugene is lying about knowing what caused
the outbreak?
I hope no reader spoils it for ya!
I will. Eugene IS the cause of the outbreak. He has a mullet to disguise a gigantic and grotesque mole on the back of his neck. One day it grew so big it exploded and released a ton of deadly puss that infected everybody. He is in radio contact with people who have super strong cream for it.
LMAO!
Its so big in fact when Darryl looks in he finds Beth.
ROTFLMAO! Keep goin’… I need it today!!!
I cant wait till the Termites tuck in to The Euge and he shouts “Ha that’s tainted mole meat fuckers!!!
Can it swallow Daryl up & can Beth break out like that big roach in the Oscar suit in MIB?
;P NO ONES SAFE FROM TROLLS ahahah
Where are all the walkers at Terminus????
They hauled tail for fear that they’d be next on The Hunters’ menu.
• Are Tyreese, Carol, Judith and Beth at Terminus either in pieces on the blue tarp or alive in a railway car like Rick’s group?
• My guess is Carol, Tyreese, Beth and Judith aren’t there. Why?
Because Carol, Tyreese or Beth would have been screaming at Rick, Carl
or Daryl by name as they were running past the railway cars towards
their trap. Then again, they could be at Terminus with other more
comfortable accommodations.
Personally I think Beth is with the person who owns the funeral
parlor. She’s probably dolling up walkers for burial and singing about ‘
buying beer to shotguns’.
• Rick and company have to go back and get Beth right?
• Will Tyreese, Carol and Judith somehow rescue Rick and company?
In order for that to work though, there would have to be someway
that Tyreese or Carol would also go the back way and then Rick and
company might be able to spot them from the rail car and let them know
they are in there to rescue them.
This is a stupid question but, I didn’t really understand. What is terminus doing with all these people?
I love the series but as much as I do I am SICK OF OVER 20 MINUTES OF GD ADVERTISEMENTS. I am about ready to stop. I know they make Millions off the Advertisements but SHIT. Idea they should have a full Feature movie in the Summers in between seasons taking up right where the last show stopped, if you don’t warch the Movie you will be lost when next series starts and then they will really rake in the money and do it each year, it would be GREAT!
yup TWD was meant to be on HBO and i wont stop saying that until it switches over 😛
Preach it, Brother! I wonder what focus group convinced show runners that people wanted less show and more commercials. Of course it was probably some noob VP of whatever just out of college.
For gawd sake, AMC!! It is just like renaming the Rose Garden Arena to the Moda Center… just pure greed at the expense of your viewers.
This season has been a let down. Sorry but its lacked pace and not had any real direction. Character development has been slow and dull and let’s all be honest we have all watched an episode and thought “that could have been done in 10 minutes” . Now there has been some standout moments ( Mostly Carol and Rick scenes) so don’t get me wrong some parts were EPIC! But there has also been some right stinkers. Why do they insist on having an episode about say Rick then we don’t see him for a fortnight. Remember Lost? Now they had the ability to focus on 1 or 2 characters per episode and still have screen time for the others so it can be done. They have added several characters like Abraham Eugene and Rosita but spent little time with them. Who can actually recall a truly great moment with Rosita? With the exception of the girls and maybe Beth no one has died. This Gareth and Mary appear to be major characters in season 5 and with the large cast we already have I fear it could be overload. In the comics RK always kills of people then brings in newbies. This prevents the problem. And finally the boxcar scene hardly sends the season out with a bang does it? If you have watched breaking bad tell me, Was it a patch on when Hank found out who WW was? No I didn’t think so. Overall this season is way down on the first 3 and if 5 starts slow and weak I will stop watching and stick to the comics coz they never let me down!!!!!!!
Post enraged, abusive and profanity filled replies below!!!!!!!!
lol if this season didnt have a direction then i dont have fingers to type this right now…. this season BLEW the others out of the water in that regard. dont understand how people think previous seasons were done better. The only thing i didnt like this season was how weak and how unthreatening the zombies are, but even that was done on purpose because RK explained that the zombies are kind of decaying in way and arnt close to as threatening as a fresh turned walker. As a fellow comic reader, was this season not the closest to the comics that there has been? i guess you dont like the comics?
The comic is top of my pull list (along with anything by Garth Ennis.) The pace is non stop and never lets up. All out war is just epic. I mean you have no idea what to expect, except a ton of Negan F-bombs!! Right now we have Rick’s fate in the balance a possible double crossing Dwight and a war that could go either way. In the show we have Rick in a boxcar not being bothered to ask “do you know where my daughter is? Why did Rick not watch terminus first? Has he not learned from the Govenor and Joe people cant be trusted? No he strolled in coz a sign said it was safe. I think the seasons best scenes are no doubt from the comics like the fall of the prison. Rick taking out Joe/marauders. And maybe the best Carol killing the young girl which was outstanding acting by Melissa McBride. Scenes that are close to the comics are great but original scenes from the writers are just lacking a cutting edge. My biggest moan is the pace, step it up a notch and they will have nailed it
“Scenes that are close to the comics are great but original scenes from the writers are just lacking a cutting edge.”
THAT’S IT!!
We can agree to disagree. We can also agree I wont win the prize for best comment.
I agree on many cases… the one place I don’t was the Randall arc and “18 Miles Out” esp.
Yeah, I’m cool with that one, too. It helped give depth to 2 characters, who, at the time, were my favorites: Dale & Shane.
It is amazing to me how during a season people will complain about it, but suddenly remember past seasons as awesome. Like Andrea’s death episode I was on chat with people, and every single one called how ridiculous it was at the time… then a month later, “Oh it was so awesome!” No, no, it was not.
I thing that – vagon is just something like rehab for new recruits of
Terminus. We all saw that they had a lot of member and that wouldnt be
possible if they were crazy psychos who trap and eat people…
the episode was great but for a season finale it sucked
I heard so much about this show that I started watching this season. I became hooked immediately. So much so that I spent an entire week watching each season going back to season #1. I commend the writers, directors, producers, actors, makeup and anyone that is involved in the production of this Outstanding show. I was depressed when Spartacus ended. However, I have The Walking Dead to look forward to. Keep up the Excellent work.
did any of the two groups eat that food ewwwwwe these sick F——s are luring hopeful people to just to eat them. Must be where the fellow that was to save the world ended up as a meat pie
you need to keep up, he’s in the boxcar
Interesting fact about the second episode of season 4. Do you know when Lizzie and Mica father was about to be dead from a walker infection. When Lizzie wants to end her father misery by stabbing him with a knife but Lizzie panic and gave the knife to carol. Mica actually said this to Lizzie, “Lizzie, look at the flower.” How cool is that!
aww man u just noticed that?? 😛
Yeah, I never noticed that quote in the second episode from season 4 because I thought, that quote was in the “grove” episode but it’s actually been in the second episode.
ya i wonder if thats something their mother taught them or something, or maybe specifically for lizzie.
So I loved the season finale. My only gripe was I wanted more plus I wanted to know where Beth,Carol and Tyrese were.
carl needs to die… SOON!!! hopefully they eat him in the season 5 premier!!!
I don’t get people like you, who want Carl to die. I use to find Carl annoying, but he’s grown so much and I love his character now. I can’t for the life of me, understand what he’s done to make people want him to die.
Beth is gonna save the day
The season 4 finale was a full hour of savage brutality. I can’t wait to see the Internet’s reaction to the badass season 5 premiere.
I’m ready for the $h!t to hit the fan!!! TWD Season 5 waiting…
Do you guys remember Randal in season 2? I think the group he was taliking about was a early Terminus! Any thoughts?
I know Gimple had a plan for the flashbacks, but almost nobody got it. Combined with the over commercialization and most fans feel a bit cheated. And nobody believes that the season opener & finale couldn’t be expanded into 2-hour shows. Other shows do it, and some do it commercial free. The Greatest cable show in history doesn’t have the material & budget?
Having said that, I love the cliffhanger suspense of this season way more than the end of season 3. Last season it was so pastoral and left almost nothing to speculate about. “Gee, that is over. What should I do now?” This season leaves me way worried for Beth, and the total lack of any word whatsoever I think is a great (used once) ploy. Carol & Tyreese, did they get there before Rick’s crew or are they still walking? And did they hear the gunfire? And how the hell do you fight your way, unarmed, out of a boxcar?
Good show everyone involved with TWD Productions. Just please consider that one or two less commercials might actually pay more in the long run, and everyone is dying for 2-hour episodes.
No commercials for season finale’s or season openers! both should be 2 hours long!!!
I think they will be able to slip someone out of the car (most likely Carl) who will get through the fence and bring the hidden guns back in, maybe even create an escape route for them, that’s how they will be able to fight their way out, escape and/or eliminate all the Terminites.. also while Carl is out he will encounter Tyreese and Carol and they will help from the outside….
It was good other than it being a cliff hanger for me. I was furious when it ended.
I hate that they did not let us know what happened to Beth but I like that they brought back Hershel for the Finale. I was also extremely happy that Rick told Daryl that he is his brother. Daryl needed to hear that 🙂 What a great show!
Rick: But they don’t know…..That there screwin with the wrong people. 😛 They got this.
I think Carol and Tyreese will arrive to Terminus and save the day with that “PUM” finger line of Rick from the comics (the guns buried in the forest make sense about it, I think). Now, with all these said, just one little detail that got me excited to think about: Daryl, Rick, Michonne, Rick, Abraham AND Tyreese together?? What the hell is this? A fucking badass party or what? IT’S GOING TO BE AMAZING!
Another thing: Who will be the tainted meat? hehe I’m going for Bob… That has to be in the show, it’s an amazing momment from the comics!
