I don’t think she’s a bad person or has super nefarious motives. I do think they sought out our Survivors because they have a need for warriors, which they clearly are. Pretty sure Alexandria needs protection. Would be nice if Deanna came right out and told Rick that, because the man doesn’t play.
C’mon…we all know you can’t trust anyone outside the group. That may change but it hasn’t yet. She’s not in control of her little “community ” and she’s bringing in backup. She needs people who can do what she can’t. Is Rick Merle in this scenario? I can’t wait to find out!
Nah, Rick doesn’t have the “henchman” gene like Merle did, but I see where you’re going.
Also, never trust a politician!
sure, she gonna oops, shoot Carl in the face. =D
I voted “Not sure yet.” She seems OK… but there’s something fishy about Aaron’s behavior while he was recruiting & that has to stem from the way things are run by the boss.
I trust her. I think she is probably a good leader. I just think her and her group are naive and have no idea on how to survive outside those walls.
She looks way too much like Mary from Terminus!
She isn’t ready for what is coming… but I believe she is trying her best.
I think Deanna means good in what she does but there is something fishy happening. There always is.
I’m sure her being a former politician will sway some people’s views that she’s automatically lying about something.
I straight up said no way, shes a representation of gregory and hate that jerk so no, she cant be trusted, if she follows gregs steps its just a matter of time until im praying for her to eat shit, i suppose i have a biased opinion cause of good old greg so fingers crossed that im proven wrong, either way im expecting her to fuck up sooner or later
Oh and i agree with carlyyougoonie that they need the survivors as extra muscle and that she should have just said it, 100% they would have agreed to do whatever is needed
I’m pretty sure she’s a representation of Douglass, not Gregory.
Yeah, don’t play games with Rick. If you put his family in danger by misrepresenting yourself you will get hacked to death.
divide and conquer. it’s really not that hard to invite starving animals into your back yard, feed-em, use-em and have-em-fight each other for a bigger piece of meat. She protecting her town from an inevitble take over form a bunch of Wolves.
She was a politician, of course she is evil.
Again, So much talk about the Wolves… I am going to be honest here, I didn’t think the Wolves were anything more than a threat in the Richmond area which is about a 100 miles away (didn’t make much sense to me). However, in the last episode, Carl was seen reading a comic with the writing, “Wolf Fight”, on the back. If anything, I believe the Wolves will be an identity given to the Scavengers (which makes more sense to me), not the Saviors, just as the Hunters were given a greater identity in the show as the inhabitants of Terminus. Furthermore, some people have mentioned Enid possibly being affiliated with the Wolves in some way. I personally think Enid is just another traveler with some screwed up past that will eventually replace Sophia’s role in the comic as Carl’s proximity infatuation. Thoughts?
It seems to me that the group is suffering PTSD and cannot trust anyone or anything. I think Rick and the gang will be the ones to screw up the free lunch and not the other way around.
Once a politician always a politician. She is nice in their faces because she wants something but I think Rick will make this place worse than what it really is. I think his attraction to this new woman is playing against him because of his wife being dead. He did bring her up when it came to talking about the place their were in. He mentioned they drove around those neighborhoods and wished they lived in a place like that. I think he is picturing this new woman (can’t remember her name) as Lori. I don’t think he is falling for her but at the fact that she has some of the same compassion that Lori did in the beginning.
