I already strongly dislike comic Dwight (I don’t mind the TV show one due to all the shit he gives Daryl), but he would be by far my most hated character if he betrayed Rick and Friends. Here’s hoping that this is a ruse.

My best prediction is that issue 167 will be some sort of dilemma where there will be some sort of spin that Andrea and Sherry were fighting each other. Then in Issue 168, with Sherry being dead, Rick decides to have Negan temporarily become the leader to hold them down. Dwight does not like this and becomes a bit of a psycho. I honestly hope this isn’t the case because I really love Dwight.

Other than that, I think this will be a VERY nice issue cover to have in my collection! I love the blacks with the bright red orange square! New story arc! Beginning of Vol 29, Book 15, Omnibus 8… awesome!
I’m a little confused but at the same time it makes sense. But mostly I’m confused because in the last Issue Dwight was about to kill Sherry and then Rick does. So I don’t see how that works out. Unless there playing The Saviors.

Then he gives William the leadership of the Kingdoms.
Then he marries Michonne, though there is no more priest.
Then Stephanie and Eugine meet.
Then she betrays him. Then her group is the new threat.
And so on…
I gope you were joking, ESPECIALLY about the Rick and Michonne thing…

Honestly, I have no idea WTF is going on with that cover. I have a sneaking suspicion that Dwight is in actuality threatening to kill Rick if he doesn’t stop moping over dead Andrea (since despite our (and Ricks) love for her character, most of the survivors have lost just as much if not more than Rick has) and get off his ass and lead given the previous cover appears to be Negan Resurgent and Rick needs to be there to counteract Negans ego going to his head(s) hee hee. Especially since I think Negan is going to be the leader of the Saviors and cooperate with Rick.
I can agree with that. I think the thing Rick wants to do is to keeps The Saviors in line and in ties with the communities again but he’s going to have to give Negan the leadership role again. Dwight was the leader, but he said he didn’t want to lead anymore and there’s no one else who would be willing to step up anyway. Negan’s proved his worth.

Like what Dwight said in 166 about the Saviors, “You can’t trust these people” I think Dwight may go a bit nuts and his “nutness” is being portrayed in 169’s cover.
This cover is quite similar to #47. Damn, Dwight, don’t do anything stupid…
