Redditor cosmic_punk brings up an interesting point: He thinks Daryl would make a better companion in the apocalypse than Rick. Which made we wonder, given any of our current Survivors, who would most people pick to roll with them? Would everyone think that dreamy Daryl is the best choice? Rick will do anything to survive, and we’ve seem him pull off some crazy rescues and escapes. And then there’s Michonne, who’s straight up awesome. And Rambo Carol, Donatelli Morgan, etc. Pick your poison below, this is assuming it’s just you and that person, so you better pick the person you’re most likely to survive with, and least likely to want to end up killing.

Throughout the whole apocalypse, Glenn seems to have been & continues to be the most stable, determined, & dependable. Most of all, I feel I could trust him… that’s the most important thing there is.

I’d end up wanting to kill ’em. Either that or stitching his mouth up like Weapon XI.
It shouldn’t even be fair to only have one vote in this. Daryl is undeniably the best lone survivor but that’s only because he has the advantage of being raised in the backwoods and knowing how to hunt. Rick is a lion who won’t leave anybody behind and Daryl is like the casualty of war who happens to be well equipped and resourceful. Those are top 2 for sure. But then Michonne and the new Carol are both really good and resourceful. Round it out at 5 with Carl because he reminds me so much of my nephew. 6 I’d say sasha because i like her but then Glenn because he’s real. Then Abraham then Maggie and round it off at ten with the person who really should be first and say Morgan. He’s been here live and strong since day 1. This post was a great head buster I’m all excited just remembered how far away October is and got sad lol honorable mention of Eugene because he is smart as Hell so he’d be a great companion too

Really tough choice there! Think I’d have to take Carol as my backup… think I have a better chance at being friends with Carol than Michonne. In fact, I’d wanna make it a goal to be Carol’s BEST friend!

Daryl’s a poor shot… he’s been missing the mark for quite some time. His bolts aren’t holding up like they used to, either.

How does one not pick Abraham? I mean he’s military and he managed to keep Eugene alive. That is a feat. All you need to do is tell him a few lives, make yourself seem important, and then you are golden.

I didn’t pick him because I don’t feel he’s been as mentally stable as Glenn. I think he’d leave me in the dust if his mission didn’t directly involve me. He’s also a little too big-headed for me.
