This looks amazing. February cannot come soon enough!
Absolute super cool trailer, groovy music… but the 2 are so mismatched!
#BeardsRULE!
Real big fan of slow-mo Rick beard.
Rick the lion
Rick’s growing a playoff beard.
I want a kazoo now!

I WAS excited about the second half. But guess what? I read a fucking spoiler! (don’t worry, I won’t say)
Seriously, why can’t the people over at “The Walking Dead” keep their shit under wraps?
Why is it that every time something major happens, it gets spoiled before the episodes even start?
It’s hard to blame the people running around spoiling shit, when they shouldn’t have figured out the spoilers in the first place.
I wasn’t even reading comments or anything! My eye caught the spoiler and there was no turning back.
kickinwing420, THANK YOU for not posting this spoiler! Most of us regulars on this site HATE spoilers. I deeply feel your frustration, but you really can’t put most of the blame on AMC & the production crew. They give us a little info to keep us hyped up, but it IS vague. Also, I imagine it would be challenging, physically & financially, to make the set completely spoiling fan proof… hard to stop these “The Spoiling Dead Fans” from stalking in the woods, camping out, & ruining things. These people are a nuisance to the cast & crew members (as indicated in numerous interviews), but there’s only so much AMC can do for prevention. There seems to be a pretty big group of people who love spoilers & so they spread like wildfire. What can you do? I’d love to go all Shane/Governor/Negan on their asses but to each their own. They can love spoilers if they want to, I won’t argue that. Problem is, people are totally ignorant on the concept of having enough respect to simply tag their posts with “Spoiler Alerts” for those of us that don’t share their enthusiasm. I’ve often wondered if they’re so eager to point out to everyone that they know more than everyone else to just make themselves feel special! I can’t think of any other reason as to why they would intentionally want to spoil things for others, especially those of us who don’t want it spoiled. Either way, I guess all you can do is be very careful of what you read & get to know the people who are posting. This season, which is playing out to be high on my list of favorites, was spoiled for me big time & so I’m pretty bitter about it… I skip right over EVERY comment these people post as soon as I see their name, urge my buddies to do the same, & hope that they’ll be like walkers who aren’t getting fed & so they eventually move on.
Desperately hoping for a cure!
I can’t agree more Bastet. Spoiling Dead fans think that because they know what happens they have the right to share that spoiler with everyone. A lot of time, effort and money goes into this show. People make a living making this show for people to enjoy! They don’t want people to destroy the hype and excitement around the work that they have created. I urge everyone to not reply to these spoiling dead fans but to ignore it. They are like the dead. The more you aggravate them, the more persistent they will be!
Right on. And I agree with Bastet that they just want to feel special. But what pisses me off is that other sites have special forums just for these folks who stalk the production crew getting these tidbits. So they have a place to go feel cool. When they do it here or on other sites not designed for that, I really wish the mods would pull the posts. I got spoiled on something in 5b (probably the same thing you saw) and I’m pissed.
.
But funny story here… I was binge watching Game of Thrones last summer and was up to season 3. Well I read an article about Walking Dead which featured an interview with Norm Reedus and he actually dropped a spoiler for GoT season 4 and ruined it for me. So yes I’m pissed about spoilers but Daryl is on my shit list for that too. Ha ha.
Yea id rather swim through ten miles of courtney loves boiling piss than know what happens, i got a raw spoiler last year with the marauders and it wrecked EVERYTHING, i swear there needs to be a falsey thewalkingdead.com so assholes can post all their shit there and only spoil for other spoilers, all in favor of a dummy trap say i
I’d rather subject myself to a Britney Spears/Justin Bieber duet on endless repeat mode.
Ick, i think thats worse than the urne
Lol, MaximumParty! I had to be sure about that torture… but yeah, I’m sure… that’s how much I love TWD!!!
Rick: You know, a little lotion could do wonders.
Walker: I’ve tried but it just makes me look greasy.
I’ve been re-watching season 4 while I wait for TWD to return. Watching ‘internment’ and I miss Hershel. Sorry, completely irrelevant to the thread but I figured I would share my sadness on here, as my friends already moan about my wd obsession posts on facebook and this is pretty much the only place I can come to wax lyrical about all things ‘dead’.
Tell you something I found interesting revisiting the ‘Rick and Carol’ episode where he ultimately runs her out of town. There dialogue was very similar to ‘Rick and Lori’ .. everyone always thinks Carol and Daryl will get it on .. nobody ever thought maybe Rick and Carol might ??
I’d watch the walking dead show even if all the spoilers for the next 2 seasons got leaked. Still want to see that ish lol. Honestly i thought i had seen a spoiler that was so detailed it explained the whole season 5 first half. I mean it had Beth’s story. Ricks next flow. Deaths of people still alive. I thought i knew just what to expect reading that spoiler but when season 5 started everything from what i read and thought i knew wind up being wrong. “Stuff” happened “thangs” changed. That being said don’t fear spoilers embrace them. They add hype to the show. Nobody knows what’s going to happen on the walking dead tv show until it’s on Sunday night’s 9pm. Live on TWD
KingDead, sounds like you got lucky & read up on some imaginative speculation. As for me, the unsolicited spoilers that hit me were dead-on for the first half of S5 & now I have the 2nd half to look forward to, which won’t be as great, simply because I know what’s coming & have already gone through the emotions without even being allowed to see it for myself. Yes, there are people out there that take fandom to a whole new level as to be more of a stalker than a fan. Unfortunately, AMC also feeds the spoiler-loving crew who go digging really hard for facts, so there are definitely real spoilers out there! I’ll NEVER understand the mindset who’d rather know what to expect & just watch it play out than to watch the show completely unaware & get 100% of the Wow Factor!
SPECULATION brings the hype; SPOILERS kill it off.
I get that @bastet When no sanctuary came out and they released the first 4minutes video my nephew. My 11 year old nephew told me why would i Ruin the excitement of watching the episode by watching the first 4minutes video when it released before the premiere. So i understand how you feel that takes from the show. But as a die hard show fan I’m going too watch whatever these writers and those actors work there asses off to create and i still feel it’s well worth it to see. I hope i never spoil anything for anybody.
Oh, you’re good! I totally skipped that video!! I’m staring at the tube about an hour ahead of time &I want that show to hit me like a wrecking ball when it comes on! If you think something you post might be a spoiler, it’s a simple thing just to put “Spoiler Alert” right at the beginning. That appeals to both sides of the fence. I wish this simple act was extremely contagious with no cure!
I’ve been cured
Testify!
Man that beard is sick as fuck
