This Week on TWD.com

Lizzy here again, clearly pulling ahead of Brian in the category of Most Awesome Site Poster At Everything. Here’s my roundup up of everything notable from the last week in case you were asleep or outside or something. (Disclaimer: using smart phones outside exempts you from the snark of the last sentence. And using smart phones while you’re asleep means you’re just a beast).

**This week’s popular article was the scintillating piece “TWD Cast Before They Were Famous.” If nothing else, check it out to see some handsome photos of Scott Wilson.

**A heated debate arose on social media when we posted Poll: Best Use of Song in The Walking Dead. I learned that people feel very passionately about music, specifically the music that wasn’t included in the poll…

**Preview panels for The Walking Dead #128 are up!

**Announcements! The Walking Dead Vol. 4 is now available in Spanish! Telltale, Skybound, and Zen announced a new pinball game! And Telltale confirmed more release dates for Season 2 of The Walking Dead video game!

**Chandler Riggs, on an interview spree, talked about celebrating his birthday on set and how Carl is progressing.

**The Walking Dead Escape happened last weekend in Atlanta! Check out our photo gallery and an awesome video of Marquese Scott & Dragon House Performing at FanFest afterward!

**There’s still time to enter our CAPTION CONTEST!

**And I’ll leave you with this soothing rendition of The Walking Dead theme song on acoustic guitar.

This week’s secret test to see who actually made it to the bottom of this recap is leave a comment about your favorite character death in TWD, show, Telltale, or comic. If you bring me to tears, well… I will have a very sad weekend/week.

Also, shout out to ThatEpicBeast U Know who, last week, pointed out that Brian and I were asleep when we made that poll about Magna and called her Magda way more times than I can admit.

    Excellent reading/posting here this week!

My favorite TWD character death is in the comic. As much as I loved Dale in the show & his death in the show devastated me, “Tainted meat” in the comic was epic!

The saddest death on the show was Sophia coming out of that barn and the looks on all of their faces. Plus the score in the background added to the heartbreak. The comic was Glenn’s death. It was brutal and the way he called out for Maggie made it rough.

My favorite character death which really wasn’t my favorite was Lee in Telltale walking dead. Lee took a small little girl under his care and protected her like she was her own.He told Vernon “That little girl’s in my care ! We’ve been through more together than you can imagine. Anyone who tries to get between me and her -ANYONE is gonna wind up dead!!! It was so tearful when he knew he was dying and was trying to help Clem escape safely so to that I give Lee a bigs ups

)))))))–>> Spoiler Alert <<==(((( Glen in the comic it was so unexpected and he was one of my favorite characters he never got to see his child it was really sad … In the show it was Lori not because I liked her character but on how it affected Rick that was a very emotional scene when he found out .. Plus Carl had to do it which which changed his whole attitude towards life and the taking of life .

There was a near death in the Skybound building when walkers attacked and Lizzy the Great had to save Brian.

I know this wasn’t an actual death, but to Rick and Carl it was, Judith. Every time I see that episode, and Carl starts crying, I like, literally flood the house. Rick cries all the time. Carl only does it when it matters . Lol.

Ok OK something else that got me was when Merle died and then turned. I think Merle went out like a warrior I know alot….ALOT of people didn’t like him and they all had a good reason not too….He did step on ALOT LOT LOT LOT of toes. But in the end…Linkin Park just got in my head……Back on the subject at hand I think that Merle redeemed himself. He try to take on the Governor by himself for the group I know it was more for Daryl but he was trying to stop the war himself to try and make up for all the bad that he had done. Heck he let Michonne go….Then the saddest part was for Daryl to find his brother like that…The big hero Daryl breaking down and Merle being turned that was some sad stuff

Am I the only one that immediatly thinks about The Walking Dead Governor-Rick moment when I see this scene in Game of Thrones ? (when Jaime Lannister loose his hand) ?

    >spoiler alert< The saddest/shocking moment that I recall in the walking dead had to be the two page picture of carl with a bullet wound where his right eye was suppose to be. I had to put down the comic because I was in such shock. That is also why I keep reading the walking dead. You'll never know whats going to happen next.
