Wait… wut? Figured he had pseudo Rick status since the show started with him. I wonder if Cliff Curtis wanted off.

      I’ve heard two things:

1: Supposedly he had beef with the producer, Travis was rumoured to disappear and return in a later season, but instead he was killed off because…

2: Cliff has signed up to the next Avatar movie, not sure if he’s signed up for other projects which caused schedule conflicts.

I’m gutted (Not a pun) because Travis was my favourite character. He would’ve had amazing stories, I bet. His send-off was shocking, but it was well done.

That was such a dumb death, he was one of the few characters on the show that didn’t drive me crazy.

Reminds me of Omars death in the Wire he fought Snoop and co then jumped out the top balcony then survived 2 eps later shot in back of the head by a kid…. Travis survives the pitt and then gets shot by a mysterious bullet lol Come on sort it out

First Chris with the lame flashback death last season and now Travis getting shot and simply letting himself fall out of the helicopter. To have a main character like Travis die in such a weak way was IMO bad writing. He was an important part of the show and deserved a better fate. You want to kill him off then okay, whatever, I thought the character was becoming more and more interesting but if you’re going to kill him off then at least give him a better death than that.

Up to the point that he found out Chris had been killed, Travis was the moral compass of the group. We all know what happens to the moral compass.
