Twitter Reacts to "Dwight's" Vest in New Season 7 Clip

In case you missed it AMC dropped the first clip from The Walking Season 7 this weekend and some/most fans are losing their minds. The scene, which features Negan’s right hand man Dwight may SEEM innocuous but there’s a certain detail that has sent fans in a tailspin. In the sneak peek Dwight SEEMS to be wearing Dwight’s signature angel-winged vest. So what does this mean: did Daryl get Lucille’d by Negan or something else entirely?! Watch the sneak peek and see how Twitter responded below:

However, Some fans weren’t deterred by #VestGate

However it works out for Daryl, we can all agree this season will be emotional

What do YOU guys this it all means for Daryl?? Let us know in the comments!

Dwight’s just keeping Daryl’s stuff warm for him! Remember how he got shot? He can’t be using/wearing all of that stuff with a hurt arm…

I think is Abraham, impatient to see Negan in the serie ! Jeffrey Dean Morgan is perfect for that character.

Not gonna lie…I like Daryl, but this possibility makes me even more excited for Season 7..Cliffhanger justification and Kirkman’s not afraid of riots..We don’t need Dwight and Daryl..The hard, left turn was onto Rte 642 when Abe,Sasha and Daryl ran into the Saviors. Hopefully we’ll see Dwight’s story in 7.02. Negan was most likely pissed about Tina and tasked Dwight with bringing Daryl to him..I hope…

People need to calm down. That is NOT Daryl’s bike. Not even close. While I agree that is Daryl’s vest, where is the bullet hole and the blood from him being shot in the right shoulder? What’s up with that? Don’t forget everyone they took his shirt and Michonne’s vest for the red rover walker line, why not his vest too. Dwight it seems wants to be Daryl. The little weasel has an inferiority complex. He doesn’t fill out that vest nearly half as good as Daryl does. He’s a wanna be Daryl. Daryl is just fine, a little beat uop but he’s just fine.

Photos shows what Daryl’s bike looks like.

“Dwight SEEMS to be wearing Dwight’s…” Apparently dear Johnny O’Dell can’t make it through one paragraph without a typo. In any case, this clip is meant to be more of a red herring then an Easter egg. Glenn dies, Daryl lives. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out.

Comic book Dwight wore a vest and had a crossbow….just saying who’s copying who now?

I really don’t think it’s Daryl. This seems like classic misdirection from the crew. It better be someone from the back of the van(Daryl, Glenn, and Michonne) otherwise all those “artsy” POV scenes in the finale are pointless.

Remember the 3 X’s? Could they stand for Deanna, Denise and Daryl?

I don’t think that predicting who, or how many, got Lucilled is going to be possible, except by chance. We’re still a long way from s7 so the red herrings aren’t even flicking their tails in ernest yet. I wonder how many more will come swimming past before it airs? I did see a comment from Kirkman that the question would be answered in the first episode, so that’s good. Here’s hoping he didn’t mean in its final seconds.

Something that did occur to me about Negan. LOOK AWAY NOW IF YOU’RE A TV SHOW ONLY PERSON.

Comic book Negan is defeated and badly injured by Rick at the end of All Out War. But he’s not killed, they lock him up. For Flipping Ages. Is JDM really going to hang around only doing the occasional through-the-bars scene for a TV season (or two) before The Whisperers rock up with their unique fashion sense and life affirming joy? Negan’s betrayal of Alpha was a truly great, and heart stopping, moment that owed a lot to the fact that it was Negan himself, the iconic TWD baddy, that did the deed.

I’m on familiar ground here, I start off thinking about the TV show and slide off it into the comicverse. Comic Rick has a matter of fact, very ordinary, quality about him that makes him very believable, to me. Is anyone else hoping that someone’s told Andy Lincoln to stop shouting most of his lines? I love Andrew Lincoln, I really do, but I don’t always love his Rick Grimes.
