Questions We Want Answered!!!

The finale is just a little more than a day away! Before watching it, I put together some questions that I’d love to see answered or at least advanced in the Season 5 finale.

Deanna has firmly been in the Rick camp, seeing in him someone with the capabilities and passion to protect her community. But after Gabriel’s testimony, and what happened with Aiden, is she still Team Rick?

Angry, emotional, walker-slaughtering Sasha has been super intense lately. Obviously she’s lost a lot this season, without a lot of time to deal with it, but will we learn more about what she’s hoping to accomplish? And more importantly, if this all comes to a head, what will she do? Will she turn on her crew? Would she snap and murder someone?

Anton Chekhov once said, “Remove everything that has no relevance to the story. If you say in the first chapter that there is a rifle hanging on the wall, in the second or third chapter it absolutely must go off. If it’s not going to be fired, it shouldn’t be hanging there.” Because I take things super literally, I only ever use this principle to refer to weapons [Fun fact: I learned about this principle from Archer]. And hence, what is up with Rick’s blender gun, now in the hands of Nicholas? Everyone that watches the show thinks that Nicholas is super shady and now he has a gun that no one knows about and no one suspects. Will he take aim at Rick? Maybe pass it to Pete?

Speaking of Pete, how’s he going to react to being kicked out of his home and almost killed by Rick? Is it possible he’ll punish Jessie for this? Or a member of Rick’s crew?

These two besties are going to have some talking to do after Michonne cracked Rick on the head to stop his freak out. How will Rick take that? What will Michonne have to say for herself?

He’s been teased a couple times this season, so I have to assume we’ll at least catch a glimpse of him. Where will that be? How far behind is he? How will he even find Rick since he’s not in DC?

Those walkers that have “W”s carved in their heads (or is it “M”s?) have been popping up all over the place. Will we find out who’s behind it and why the hell they’re doing it? Because seriously, it’s creeping me out.

They obviously played a major part in the destruction of Noah’s walled community. I don’t think it was a throw-away detail that we saw a few times that episode that the Wolves were to blame. And how here our group is in a walled community. Prevailing theory is that they’re behind the “W” walkers. Will Alexandria have it’s walls tested?

This has been all over Twitter. But I think that might happen every big TWD episode. Norman Reedus hasn’t made fans feel any less secure, predicting crying and screaming over the finale. We won’t have long to wait to find out.

Is it possible the finale will end with a tease of the next major character? We haven’t heard any casting news for anyone major, but that doesn’t mean they can’t tease it. What if we see a long-haired man in a beanie with a bandana covering his face and binoculars watching Alexandria or approaching Daryl? What if the last shot of the show is just a barb wire-wrapped baseball bat dropping into frame and a bleeped curse word? I think I would lose my mind.

We’ll find out Sunday at 9|8c!

A lot of this is speculated on over in our “FANS PREDICT THE FINALE” post, so be sure to check that out!

I’m literally so terrified of Daryl. I wish he wouldn’t die. Many people predict his death but I think otherwise. Even if a lot find Norman’s statement convincing and a “sign.” Daryl is one of the strongest in the group. I believe he deserves to survive until the end. What can I say? IF DARYL DIES WE RIOT. XD

If either of those characters is teased at the close of the episode there will be a collective pants shitting across the internet.
Though, since you mention it in going to assume we will get neither.

I really hope Daryl loses his way or somehow joins the saviors (maybe making an absence in part of season 6) to take on the role of Dwight in the comics; I just find their personas to be so similar, making a great opportunity for such a situation. It would add an extra layer to Dwight’s scenario story arc, and imagine Daryl’s face being ironed by Negan… Also, I’m afraid Carol is going to die in this episode. Her story arch seems to be closing off, and her death would consequentially be the cause of Daryl’s leaving (if he actually were to join the Saviors).

~I think Deanna is strictly by the book & has Alexandria’s best interests at heart, but also has a few methods being amiss.
~Sasha will come around. It’s a bad patch… a little PTSD thing going on, just like Rick had. She’ll come around & she’ll be even stronger!
~I think Nicholas might be going for Glenn. Maybe it will make Glenn step out of his comfort zone & snap in an un-Glenn-like way!
~Michonne will feel a little badly that she did what she did, but she will stand behind her reasoning & Rick will respect her for it.
~Morgan will come to someone’s aid outside the walls of ASZ… someone who doesn’t know who he is… but all we’ll see is a glimpse before we’re left hanging for season 6.
~”W” = Wolves… a group of baddies that are gonna feel pretty stupid when they find out… only ASZ’s strength is gonna be compromised because of the rift in the community.
~Daryl’s not dying. It’s AMAZING how people can take what he stated & run with it as if it would only pertain to himself.
~Just a GLIMPSE of HIM would make me kickboxing all over the place with excitement!!!

If Daryl dies, then the entire internet would be filled with sadness, despair, and hate! Every server would crash under the heavy internet traffic. Facebook and twitter’s massive server systems would over heat and burst into flames causing many deaths. And Google… poor Google. There systems would cope but only until the rest of the world saw the episode. Their computers would go off like mini atom bombs. And last but not least… AMC. Their office buildings will be swarmed by an angry mob of Daryl supporters seeking revenge on the company which would destroy such a beloved character. The world is doomed…

    Are the Wolves the Saviors?

Well they do seem to use Walkers and the Saviors use walkers around the Sanctuary.

But I really think it is too early for the Saviors to find Alexandria without introducing a wider world of communities.

I know there are people who want Negan to show, and show up yesterday, but I want the story to find its own time.

I want to see the season end with the Wolves at the Gates.

Perhaps we know where Morgan is,
Perhaps there is someone ‘manning’ the watch tower,
Maybe Daryl & Aaron are outside the walls,
But inside the walls a pressure cooker near civil war, chaos, Pete & Rick, Father Gabriel, does Abraham deserve the job he stole and Nicolas with his gun.

And even without Negan or Saviors it is not going to disappoint me.

I’ve been hearing some strong arguments that they are a group called “The Scavengers” from the comics. They are basically a group so desperate to survive they will do anything and take anything. I think kirk is adding a little something special by the fact that they tag walkers, maybe for intimidation or maybe they use them as protection. But we all know they aren’t going to be any match for Rick’s Murdah Posse

    • Sasha finds a new hope in facing a new enemy pulling her from her PTSD and highlighting her sniping skills. No time to feel sorry for yourself when the shit hits the fan (AGAIN)
    • The “W’s” have not been playing nice given slaughter party in the woods. These woodsmen have no problem disassembling a body and murdering a young blonde woman (Death by Walker). I believe the “W” represents the Wolves AKA: Saviors
    • Abraham is going to get whacked by the “W”s while he is walking with Eugene
    • Glenn is going to get killed in front of Maggie, Rick, Michonne, and Carl (It’s a very violent and ugly death) after they all meet Jesus.
    • I could be getting ahead of myself here, one death could be Pete.
    • After Pete’s death, a brief romance between Rick and Jessie could lead to her unexpected demise along with her son. Not by “Just look at the flowers” Carol.

Why hasn’t Rick ever implemented the Walker wrangling techniques utilized by Morgan so early on in the series?

So, where is Heath?! He is missing!

Super excited, im hoping that blender gun doesnt pop up in a real shitty place, i know ricks gonna be fine and calm so hopefully whatever obstacle is in the finale it wont be toooo bad, got my fingers crossed that theres some super raw action coming our way and, being twd, i cant wait

I’m wondering how morgan would find Alexandria. I mean, his map just says go to DC and the gang isn’t even in DC. I’m thinking in the last few minutes he is gonna meet jesus from hilltop or something like that, there is no way he finds Alexandria so easy

    • MaximumParty March 29, 2015 at 10:18 am - Reply

Wooord, id love it if he showed up but at the kingdom or hilltop so they could introduce more folks and still wrap it all up and say “ok, hes safe, hes with the group but theres still more story we can tell before hes actually with the group”

Norman Reedus has signed up for Season 6; that is the answer on Daryl’s issue.

What I think is going to happen is:
    1. Carl goes with Rick and they meet up with Morgan.
    2. Carol goes on a rampage and kills Pete and the Priest for being douchebags. Flowers then cookies….
    3. Aaron gets killed.
    4. Daryl gets tied to a tree OR Daryl warns about Neegan busting down the gates of Alexandria and Glenn dies.

I just want to know if Jon Hamm is going to be Negan in Season 6?
