Besides, I think there had to be some sort of connection made in order for Daryl to accept Carol’s Pookie nickname (which Gimple could’ve left out of the script, if you ask me). I think what we see in clips involving Daryl & Beth is a survivor/protector thing….those two ended up together when they were separated from everyone else. At least, that’s what I’m hoping because Carol-n-Daryl works for me.

I would love to see caryl but first would carol to make it to season 5. the pookie nickname that so many liked was odd. it didn’t seem right. the I like you first was, I think playful banter. I would be not happy to see beth and daryl. they really have had few scenes and almost no contact so don’t see it. the comfort hug was awkward to me. I do see beth and daryl getting close from being alone and trying to survive. this season has had a lot of ooc, so who knows

the second half of this season is gonna be about people against their own internal conflicts. It is like the final screening of who has the most internal strength and drive to live on.

Carol has nothing to prove beyond her needing to learn to live again not just survive. She’s gone cold, she can come back from that and I hope they let her do that. She’s not perfect, she needs to account for what she did and romantic wishes for her won’t advance her any without her realizing mistakes she made.

Chandra, Carol did not lie. She said she killed them, because she felt guilty about it.
And Carol expected to explain further. Rick kept cutting her off, and she kept trying to discuss it, but Rick would have none of it.
Carol felt guilty because she taught the girls to kill the zombies.
She pushed them both to shove a knife in the still warm corpse of their father, and they could not do it.
This is a direct result of lessons learned from Carol.
Why was Carol so distraught? Because she decided that killing 2 people was the best thing for everyone? No. I don’t think so.

Yeah, we do know actually. Everyone on the show has said so, and at great lengths to explain why she did it, including Melissa. The problem is some fans don’t want to accept she did it, and that’s their problem.

Right, but they’ve already gone into INCREDIBLE detail as to why she did it, and how she can come out of it and it’s not a BAD thing for her either because she can come out of it with her survival skills AND a new found appreciation/empathy. She can feel again and continue to be the badass survivor we all know she is. But there are things they’ve already set as “canon” and when Gimple said we’d know who the killer was, sooner rather than later, I’d bet he probably didn’t mean sooner as in months later.
The problem is for those who don’t want her to be the killer is they don’t see the enormity of what she would have to have done, which is much worse, to cover for a kid.

abraham is a great character. But carol, in the show, has done things that I think outdo all the strengths of all the characters in the show. Trust there’s a reason for why they wrote this for her and it doesn’t have to be bad.

It was a very weak note, but the point of the season is can you come back from what you did. Here’s what would have to have happened for Carol to cover for Lizzie:
1) She finds Lizzie having killed them. She helps her drag the bodies out and burn them. That’s lovely to do to and with a child btw.
2) Says nothing to the child about what she did, which is clear.
3) Sends the child into quarantine, with a big ass knife, showing her how to have easy access to it and telling her to seek out Glenn.
4) Leaves, is banished, doesn’t bother to say “Yo, there’s a kid running around who may or may not start cutting y’all the hell up”.
Let’s not forget that she’d clearly not have any trust in anyone in that group either, because her covering for the kid, if she were, would say she thought they would hurt or banish a child.
Yeah, no, I hate what Carol did, she’s not my fave right now, but even I don’t think she’d stoop that low and I’m not as avid of a fan as those on here who apparently do.

The Gov was so awesome! he was like an evil george w bush propaganda master that was always in control of any situation because he had such a mental edge on everyone. Dave Morissey’s Governor adaptation was fuckin brilliant in my eyes he stol the show every time he was on screen, but my parents hate the governor as well as well with some of my friends. the way season 4 is going, I don’t even see a daryl carol reunion. carol has barely been in eps, her story is with ty and the kids. think it will end badly for the girls but still think it is wrong to kill her off. love her character

I still think Rick did the right thing with Carol
I think he did the right thing but I also understand why Carol did what she did…just not in the manner that she did it–without anyone else’s input.
She kinda jumped the gun just a little bit. The people she killed had not turned yet. Now I am not saying that they would’nt turn and in her mind she thougth she was doing right i’m sure,but all she had to do was keep them locked in the cell. She went over the consuls head.
who’s to say that they hadnt turned? there wasnt any specific evidence that proved that they had! they were burned, yes, i find that odd…but maybe carl, lizzy, or mika found their bodys and didnt tell anyone. then, they burned them because they had no idea except for that. then, i think carol aurtomaticly decided that lizzy did it, due to her crazy behavior, and decided she had to cover for her….im not saying carol didnt do it…im not saying lizzy, mika, or carl did. but i doubt carol, if she did in fact do it, was not intending to murder anyone!
I just cant be ok with him putting her out not to mention the hateful comments. if he thought she was a danger to the group put her in a cell and wait for others not leave her 8 miles away with a car and weapons. if she was a cold, hard, unfeeling bitch- she would’ve come back and kicked his ass

i disagree. rick didnt banish carl when he shot a person from woodbury. he did it for pretty much an identical reason as carol. in fact, im not sure that carol really did kill karen and david. carl wanted to make sure that this specific person couldnt hurt the group. that woodbury kid could have been the nicest…but he was potentially dangerous. so were karen and david. they might have gotten better. they might have killed everyone there. (effie trinket voice) the odds were…er werent ever in their favor! in fact, tohugh i favor carl this season espicially (hello, he’s gorgeous) i think that carol was covering for him. most people, however, believe it was lizzy. im not sure, but i think that rick shouldve questioned carol a bit more before he made a group changing desicion.
When you think about Carl shooting that little fella from Woodbury, you have to remember that that guy was on a different team…the one that was attacking Rick and the group; Karen & David were not enemies. So it’s a little different. I think that Carol did the killing but I can’t totally deny the idea that she could have possibly covered up for one of the kids instead–Carl or Lizzie. If a reveal ever does come about, I’m sure it will make sense, no matter what that revelation is.

see I cant see any heartless or coldness is that statement, she did try to talk to rick, he closed her off. just as rick wouldn’t have put carl out, i’m surprised he kicked carol. they have a friend bond that was strong. if rick thought carol was not to be trusted and dangerous why set her loose with weapons. it just doesn’t make sense. I think evidence points to carl but we will find out
It could have been Carl! But why would Carol not tell Rick, since Rick would never let Tyrese hurt Carl?
I think Carol’s conscience was bothering her afterwards, hence that show of emotion when she spoke to Tyreese. I don’t think she regretted what she did but she hated that she felt she had to do it. And I don’t think Tyreese would have been able to stop Rick. Tyreese would have dealt a heavy ass-cuttin’. Rick has yet to earn that deep respect from Tyreese that Daryl portrays.
I’m not sure….but it seems as if carl has just urned some trust back with rick…and carol saw that. so maybe she didnt want rick to never trust his son again, or that she didnt want hershel to knw, because of his reaction when he shot the kid from woodbury. now, hershel cant really do anything…he is just a head, and everyone is separated. so i think carl will tell rick because he knows that he is far out of reach from tyreese. plus, i think his revelation will be when rick is unconcios. its just a theory. i like having theories.

She should of waited to see what would happen then decided it and come upon it with Rick. hes the leader for a reason…
I really don’t think Daryl will die but no one is safe as we found out in the books. As for Rick I said all along he done the right thing

Carol isn’t badass and never was!
Some would say she is… she may not wield a weapon with a whole lotta authority like other characters, but her strongest weapon has been within. She was able to come through some things that have crippled others around her. She was in the background, taking care of “housekeeping” (if THAT doesn’t make ya a badass…!) She was also a small voice of reason (talks with the Dixons & with Beth). She’s a true survivor.
You autta read Carol in the comics…. you’d see show Carol in a stronger light.

you cant prevent death. you can fight it, however, and it does seem as if that is exactly what they are doing. But even in reality, death fights back.

but a stone? that is all you remember of someone living? in the walking dead, however, their goodbyes end on more of a violent note. you say goodbye to something oddly NOT living. Or, at least, something not of its previous brain state. i, however, do not wish to say goodbye to the walking dead.

Hoping that Glen gets used in 4b after the writers kinda ignored him in 4a.
Hoping also that both Beth and Tara die either by the hunters are walkers. Both actresses are awful to watch.
I would like to see, Carol rescued and saved Judith, just as she was about to be attacked by the walkers. She was trying desperately to find the group to show Rick his L’il A*s kicker is still alive. Later, Daryl found Carol and Judith and took them back to the group. Rick was so thankful, He accepted Carol back to the group! Daryl and Carol then have a romantic scene.
please no more carol needs to be saved. over over done. carol saved Judith and the girls, not to win acceptance-to help children. would like your version but rick is different, he is not a friend to her and I worry what he would do to her. daryl follows rick- I don’t see him doing anything to help his so called friend. carol would be better in a different group but I would like to see her survive
