In case you missed it over on Skybound.com, we have some exciting news! Robert Kirkman is producing a sci fi movie under the Skybound banner! Air will be produced by Kirkman, David Alpert, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Chris Ferguson, with a script from Christian Cantamessa and Chris Pasetto. Cantamessa will make his directing debut.
So what’s this have to do with The Walking Dead, aside from Robert, David Alpert (who’s an EP on The Walking Dead as well) and Skybound’s involvement? Air is set to star Walking Dead fave Norman Reedus and perennial badass Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator, Guardians of the Galaxy, Fast & Furious 7, two-time Oscar nominee).
A quick summary of Air: When Earth’s atmosphere is all but destroyed, humanity’s last hope is the personnel cryogenically frozen in an underground bunker. Reedus and Hounsou play the caretakers of the facility whose sanity is tested as they struggle to survive in the last bit of habitable space on Earth.

This sounds cool! I like Hounsou! Will definitely be checking this out!!
I’ve been waiting to hear Kirkman was getting into movies awesome
Now if we could just convince him to put a Dead prequel on the big screen with a cameo of at least Rick!!
I was thinking it would be nice if they shot The Walking Dead prequel/sequel the same way they shot the Sin City movie in black and white like the comics .
Oh, man! That would be the ONLY way to do it….PERFECT!!!
It would be cool if they have a comic book tie-in .
About time Robert about time
