I predict Negan will finally make his long-awaited entry into the TV Show. Maybe not a full appearance, but in a cliffhanger sequence.

Maybe in a prelude to the infamous death scene of issue #100…

What if in the end credits of Season 5 finale, we get a 5 second look at a hand holding a bloody baseball bat whit barb wire around it, would that be a good idea hinting at Negan next season ?

Absolutely!! 😀 Even if it’s just the Saviors (or whatever the show ends up calling them…Wolves or whatever) making an appearance and a faceless voice holding Lucille speaks off screen…

        …that would make my summer…:D

Oh man! That’s just epic! I’m guessing the rest of season 5 will be about life on alexandria and finale will be that storyline where zombies break into the community and Carl gets shot. The show has been pretty fast-paced recently. I think it will fit.

I really hope they don’t rush to introduce Neagan into the show by the end of the season. There is still wayyy too much that needs to happen before he shows up. Plus I am sure they are still trying to figure out how they are going to get a Tiger on the show.

Only reason I could see them adding Negan early is to stress how fucked up he is making their lives. Many of the story arcs seen in the comic would still be available given Negan’s presence. It would just add to the stress of the turmoil within Alexandria. I always felt Negan’s time was rushed, at least it didn’t seem like he was fucking over alexandria for too long before Rick decided to do something about it.

They need those 30 min to fit all of Negan’s low hanging [fruit]… And hopefully a Lucille the size of cloud’s buster sword

Finale will be Pete’s death, possible death of Dianna(ASZ leader) Scavengers(“The Wolves”) fight, and a cliffhanger allusion to the “No Way Out” herd.

Noah will die in 515; and Rick and Pete will have their first, knock-down drag-out brawl.

I think this is the most logical route, assuming they’re gonna stick to the book for the time being, but I honestly feel like they could branch off with some unique stories just to draw differences between the book and show.

For instance, wouldn’t Carole want to fuck up Pete after her own experiences, or possibly Daryl? I think so.

yeah the herd is the first thing i thought of! that would be a pretty good season finale.

That is what I’ve been saying all along. Maybe not the “death of Dianna” yet. I was thinking maybe in the “No Way Out” arc? And people who keep saying Negan is going to show up, this will help them understand how there is so much more content.

I hope we get a post-credits scene that shows the forming, journey, and acknowledgement of the “No Way Out” herd. Similar to the scene from Season 2, that shows the forming of the herd that ovveruns the farm; starting all the way back in Atlanta.

I still feel like the finale will end with Carl’s accident. It happens, he says “dad?” and falls to the ground. Rick screams “CARL” and runs to him as it hard cuts to black. The teaser will be a shot of someone walking into frame( possibly with the hilltop/alexandria in the background) with only their feet visible, then Lucille drops into frame. Hard cut to black.
    Just a prediction 🙂

    My Predictions:

    – Aaron and the folks at Alexandria have been looking for a tough crew to add to their community because they are being terrorized by a group of bikers called the wolves (aka The Saviors) and their leader Negan. They are hoping Rick’s crew can stand up to them. But this won’t be revealed until the Season Finale.

    – Rick’s group has a hard time adjusting to normal life. They keep taking things to an extreme. Which scares the people of Alexandria. They want to kick them out, but need them (See my previous prediction).

    – Rick and the gang fend off/battle a group of “Wolves” and that’s when Aaron and Alexandria come clean about them.

    – The gang get pissed but decide to take them on, but then their leader shows up aka Negan. He kills someone, but NOT Glenn. Maybe Maggie or Daryl? Then tells Rick that he’s now his bitch.
    Fade to credits……

I don’t think the show is going to drag out Alexandria for too long before they Introduce Negan. Again, this is my theory.

    (SPOILERS FROM THE COMICS!)

Although the show’s pace is very fast at this moment, i think we won’t be seeing The Saviors until season 6. There’s a lot of ASZ e Hilltop material to be contemplated in this season and season 6A. I’ve made my own predictions (considering just the adaptations from the comics):

    – maybe the Wolves are actually the Scavengers group that attacked ASZ, and i think they will be dealt with until episode 14-15, just like the horde and the incident with Carl (although i’m not sure if they will do it on the series. they haven’t even took Rick’s hand…);

    – I would be very thrilled if the cliffhanger from the season finale is our loved messiah looking at the group with his binoculars;

    – For season 6, i expected Negan or Dwight (or another new savior?) in the midseason finale, as long as the march to war in 6B and the war itself in 7 (and some other storyline made for the show). In season 8 (two years from now) i think we’ll see the 2 years time skip and the current storyline from the comics.

Regardless, can’t wait for the next episodes, the comic and the show are increasingly brilliant! I wish I had not seen anything of the series to be able to make several marathons hahah 🙁

I definitely do not think we will be seeing Negan this season. I predict Negan will be introduced at the end of season 6. I personally feel that the 90 minute run time is a push for larger viewership and ratings. Who can blame them. I also think it’s too soon for the massive herd of walkers to hit the ASZ. I think that the finale will be a mixture of comic book elements and a new creative story direction or conflict, as we’ve seen in every half season so far. I.E. the flu storyline in 4A, and the Grady Memorial storyline in 5A. Anyway. I could be totally wrong and make a fool of myself, but, I am 95% certain that Negan will not be introduced this season.

YES! this is going to be epic! but i sincerely think the show should wait for negan until the hilltop colony. I think they should end this season with a hige glimpse of the massive herd of no way out or perhaps a little glimpse to jesus i would love that!

I see a lot of talk about the wolves being the saviors, but I really think that the wolves were just in Richmond. The evidence of their presence was just to keep the group moving, it was just to have the viewers understand that evil was lurking in that area. Richmond is pretty distant from Alexandria anyways.

I want to see Negan more than anyone, but it’s still too soon for this finale. ASZ to Negan was 30 comics.

Season finale is zombie horde in ASZ, Carl gets an eyepatch.

With all the commercials now, we may actually get a full hour’s worth of show. I’m all for that.
I, too, think a Negan showing or reference will probably surface. I have always pictured Patrick Warburton as Negan but I highly doubt that will happen.

I believe the season will end with the walker horde besieging Alexandria Safe Zone when Carl’s eye is shot out. I believe this is the perfect place: it’s when Rick becomes Alexandria’s leader, Carl gets major character development and it sets up the entire next season to focus on Negan and his Saviors since it’s too early to introduce them entirely. Plus, it allows it to add in a tv show extra by killing off main characters, my guess would be Carol or Sasha. Whatcha think?

Easiest prediction ever. It will be an epic battle with the The Scavengers/Wolves in a huge shoot out finale. The people guessing Negan are pretty dense. It will end with the huge horde from the comics, and my guess is that the big “cliffhanger” will be (spoiler) Carl getting shot or the show equivalent.

Yeah so my vote (because I’m under the illusion that the producers are sitting reading this for my input on an episode already produced) is to NOT show Negan this early. With 5 episodes left in the season I really want to see the dinner party, struggling to fit in, Pete (hey it sounds like he’s the only doc in ASZ which makes his story potentially more impactful than in the book), marauders (wolves?), No way out???? I think perfect ending would be no way out and then cliffhanger with Jesus (totally think it will be “Paul” on TV) watching them.

I think Hilltop is Season 6a with intro of Negan as the mid season finale. That would be my wish. And AOW a full season 7.

I’m feeling that the rest of season 5 will cover all of “Too Far Gone” and will end with the death of Pete. And with the finale being 90 minutes long, I feel we will get to see the “Wolves” (DC Scavengers) as people are speculating also. The season will end with the leader (Diana I heard it was, instead of Douglas) stepping down and having Rick becoming the new leader of the Alexandria Safezone (because of how well he handled the wolves. Hence the name “Conquer” being the title of the finale. Then season 6 will be “No Way Out”, “We Find Ourselves”, and end with the “A Larger World” and the into of Paul “Jesus” Monroe. Season seven will finish up a larger world, and by the mid season finale, we enter “Something to fear” with the intro of Negan being the mid season finale. The second half of the season will be “March to War”. And season 8, will be “All Out War” parts 1 and 2. Thoughts?
