Season 6 is barreling towards us faster than a crossbow arrow to the head. Speaking of crossbows, Daryl actor Norman Reedus recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the “different” Season 6 and how the group struggles to fit in to Alexandria.
“You’ve taken a bunch of wild animals and put them into a domestic environment and some of them prefer to be wild animals,” Reedus said. Watch the video below to find out what else Reedus discussed and make sure to stay tuned to discover what other changes are coming this season.

He wears his shades indoors when it’s picture-taking time… no shades out in the sun…
Can we just bring on Lucille & get it over with?!
…
How’s that for wild animal?
Good ears.
Does anyone else think that Daryl might just transition into the Dwight character…maybe minus the face burns? It seems to me that it would be easy to merge the characters..like the show already has a reputation of doing. Daryl has already been established as someone who would break away from the group.
Nope! Daryl side with Negan & the Saviors, even if unwillingly & for a short period? Nope! Also don’t think Daryl has been established as someone who would break away from the group. He tried that once, with Merle… his loyalty lies with Rick, especially now that Merle is gone. Looks like there may be a little tension coming up in Season 6, but Daryl’s gonna stay with his family, no matter what.
I get what you’re saying…but I think it could be possible. With Rick going a little nuts, the “problems” Alexandria is about to face, and the fact that Daryl is already spending most of his time away from the group, it’s a transition I can see being made. Daryl fell in pretty well with that bad group after the prison fell, which showed what he was willing to do to survive. That’s his identity….the survivor. It could create a situation similar to when Andrea committed herself to Woodbury. We also don’t know how they’re going to portray Negan in the show. The Governor was a lot more likable than his comic counterpart.
I also think that Carol may be a casualty sometime this next season, and I think that losing her may be enough to push Daryl in a dark direction. He is still a Dixon after all.
Daryl was on his own with no knowledge of the others when he fell in with Joe & the gang. He was never really a willing participant either. I get what you’re saying, too tho… it could go that way. And I’d be all for it as that would certainly put some life back into a character gone stale. But I just don’t see them taking Daryl down that path as it would surely end with his death… an event that would be even harder to believe.
