I think Daryl is goin to get to meet Lucille instead of glenn.
That would make him more hated for TV fans who haven’t read the comic. I believe it would be a wise move
Negan is miles off yet! He wont be in this season and I hope he wont be in any season soon. We still have to make our way to Alexandria yet so introducing Negan before that would waste him as a villain.

I heard Scott Gimple tell Chris Hardwick that Negan would show up “eventually”. There was nothing to indicate he’d be there in Season 5. That’s from the show that aired….now if there’s some bonus material somewhere, I can’t speak for that.
They never said that he would appear in season 5. They said it was inevitable that he would show up but “Don’t expect him anytime soon”.
This makes sense as Negan is still 40 issues (Ish) away from where they currently are

I’m sick of the NR fangirls all over. It’s obvious who true TWD fans are & who the NR fans are.
I remember feeling that, AT ANY TIME, ANYONE could die. I just want that feeling back. Daryl’s death would be a mega shock. We know why & that’s just sad.

I agree when Glen went in the comic it really took me by surpriseI just couldn’t beleive what just happened I was like HELL NO HE DIDN’T. We need that in the show too. It got me when T-Dog died too. We just are waiting for something big like that to happen
Since the release of this image, the Google+ community is blowing up with, “Please don’t kill Daryl! He’s the only reason I watch the show!” I’m thinking to myself, “Man, these people are missing out if they can’t see past Daryl to take in the show for what it truly is!”
Whoever watches the TV show just for Daryl is missing out on what the show really stands for. The Walking Dead to me is an insight in to how far people will go to survive and how they deal with the apocalypse. It’s more about the people and how they cope than it is about smashing zombie’s mushy heads in. Take Carol for instance (Season 4 spoiler), she decided that killing those two people would mean their survival. This brings up what people think is right and wrong. The Walking Dead is more that just a zombie show, its a show about people and their struggles in a world that they can’t understand or control.

Bro Neagan is solo far off rite now,they’re rite arounds comics 57-68,they still have to get to alexandria and the hill top then they finally tell rick about the saviors near issue 90 and he finally gets introduced in issue 100.imo they’ll prob bring up the saviors maybe by the end of this season but Neagan won’t be till mid break or end of next season
I hope they kill him off when they bring in Negan. I wanna feel angry towards Negan and wanna watch him go down the way it happens in the comic
Think about it: Some people on forums think Daryl is Un-killable because of his popularity. What better way to squash it then to have Negan (The most bad-ass evil villain) kill him off. I believe Daryl is WAY more popular than Glenn when it comes to the TV Show.
Plus he needs a Daryl Needs a way to go that isn’t by a zombie. The worse villain would be the best way for him.
But I’ll go for a Lucille beat-down, too.

LOL!! Now, now! Daryl’s OK….not as good as he was a few seasons back when you just wasn’t sure if he was a good guy. It’s Norman Reedus that truly needs to be gagged for quite a while!

I think this past season was the worst for his character.
No way. I loved him in season 4 (second half).
Okay… I didn’t love HIM. But I loved his character’s development and direction. I despise his super invulnerable season 3-4A character type. “Look at Daryl fight zombies. Look at Daryl use zombie body shields. Look at Daryl destroy a fucking tank by himself.” For the first time in awhile I felt like he was vulnerable. Like he wasn’t perfect and he wasn’t JUST a cash cow to milk for profit because fans will eat it up. He could be someone you might have even hated for a moment. And that’s how real characters are. No one is always consistent. Let’s see what awaits us next.
It’s that anti-hero type persona that appeals to me (thinking Shane, maybe even Merle). When Rick first met him & they butted heads over Merle… not so much the one-man walker killing army (that mess with the walker shield was ridiculous!). But I understand what you’re saying about personal change, vulnerability, & realism. The show has worked those elements with other characters very well (Carol, Rick). To me, it didn’t work with Daryl. Some characters are meant for subtle change & I think Daryl’s one of them.
Lol remember “Listen up, Olive Oil!” and “Why don’t you go back to On Golden Pond, old man!”

Same here. Not that I hate Daryl, but his popularity has made him so safe to the point of Rick and Carl since Season 3. I actually thought the episode where Merle died would be the one where Daryl died.
Negan this, Negan that, wait until we actually get close to him being on the show before we worry about him.
I really hope Daryl or Glenn dies this way but it probably wont happen till season 6. We still have the cannibals, then Alexandria safe zone and all those problems like the horde and the biker group, then we have the introduction of other communities, and finaly we have the introduction to NEGAN!

I think this is where the groups at when the explosions and the herd comes. They’re already out of the boxcar; about to have done to them whatever it is the Termites do; when all hell breaks loose and Rick and the gang seize the opportunity.
Could be a number of things, Negan is a possibility, but considering how long it took them on the Govenor story line to show that he was a threat, and then a whole season to take out the prison, I dont give that much hope. They still have the Alexandrian Safe Zone and the Hilltop to find and there groups. Then theres the introduction of the Saviors, Negan’s group. That arc were we first heard then saw them made Negan an even bigger threat in my opinion, so jumping straight to Negan is a strech. We still have Garret and the Termites to worry on, they could be excuting him to make a point. The finding Beth arc, he could have been snatched by say hilltop and he is looking up at her as she keeps him from being killed. To me he doesn’t look scarred for his life, in pain, or defiant, and if it was Negan, him dieing or “tainted meat” one of those would be there. He looks sad or hopeful (strech). In all honesty I do not see them killing off Daryl soon. If they keep killing off the “Fan Favorites” people are going to get bored or become distant to character devlopment. This season I think the newer members (attached season 4 part 2 and this season) should be the ones worried.

What are some of you people smoking? It’s been made pretty clear that Negan isn’t going to be appearing in the show for a while. This is clearly from one of the first episodes of Season 5 — at Terminus ( C-A-N-N-I-B-A-L-S)– I don’t think this is a hint about Daryl’s death either — If they do take him out, I’m sure they’ll do it so it’s a complete shock and surprise.
Also, I think “Tainted Meat” is going to be Bob Stookey. Remember when Maggie, Sasha and Bob were fighting off walkers and one got to Bob, and Bob claimed that it just got him on the bandage … that may have been a hint.
I like the idea of Negan being the one to take Daryl out, but I don’t see Negan being in the show any time soon. I just mentioned “Tainted Meat” because I imagine that to be an honorable death for Daryl &… well….I thought that was a really awesome scene in the comic. But I, for one, believe Daryl has been made immortal, so chances of Bob becoming “Tainted Meat” and Daryl living longer are higher. A handful of us like to throw all kinds of scenarios out there…doesn’t mean we’re smoking anything.
Daryl is too good for Tainted Meat. T-Dog isn’t going to be the only one who went out in the blaze of glory, as a hero. (Seriously, doesn’t happen often in the show or comic) Sorry if I offended with the “what are you people smoking” question — don’t mean to be rude, but I was just a little taken back by the Negan comments.
Seriously though, they can’t even do a fraction of Negan correctly, so I’m not all that eager for him to show up in the series. Negan isn’t just vulgarity or extremist violence; he’s a combination of the two; complimentary, they complete his character, personality, ETC. He is defined by his voice AND his actions.
I’ll happily take a long break from Governor to Negan.
Ya they’re waaay off from introducing Negan,I could see maybe at the end of next season if they make it to Alexandria is when they tell Rick abut the saviors but it was another like 12-15 issue till they actually showed him ,so if i had to guess it’d b the final episode of season 6when luiciile is used full on,maybe season 6 midseason.And can we start writing the show and demanding a 2hr season premieres and finales .wtf b.s shows that suck and just come out have 2hr openings.Imo 2hrs for each premiere midseason break midseason premiere and finale’s.That’d put TWD prett much at a perfect 20 hour seasons
I don’t want Negan’s appearance rushed. He’s one of the biggest anticipations for us readers. That is, if he’s done right. I couldn’t see him on anything but a paid premium, which means he will most likely be dummied down (but made to be more psychotic)… I’m curious about that.

when it comes to tv series no one is “unkillable”. that being said do not for one moment think that amc or the writers/producers of this awesome series do not realize what that could mean for the show and/or the network. It’s all about ratings and $$$$. I think Daryl is probably safe for at least a little while. then again remember Hershel? who saw that coming from standpoint of the tv series?
If Daryl dies most people wont watch he’s the star of the show!!
