  6. Jacin February 18, 2014 at 1:08 pm - Reply

Uh, there’s no one on that cover that we currently ‘know,’ is there?

So, either a new group shows up at the end of the ‘All Out War’ arc and we spend this issue finding out their story or the book shifts focus entirely, which probably doesn’t bode well for the characters we currently know and love.

So would these people be from the third group Paul said he traded with? Cause I clearly remember reading that the Hilltop trades with 3 communities, not including the Saviors, but after he said it, it was never mentioned again. I think I might have just found out Kirkman’s secret, lol.

    • Matt Stevens February 18, 2014 at 1:12 pm - Reply

Yeah I remember him saying about a couple of other smaller communities, thing is Kirkman says its a very different book after AOW so it could be goodbye to Rick and all the others.

      • Kenneth Keith February 18, 2014 at 1:17 pm - Reply

That’s true, and I don’t know why they would be at war and not bring the others into the fold. Who knows though, as long as this doesn’t have anything to do with the Terminus bullshit from the show, I’m fine, lol.

It’s revealed that Negan is a T1000 after his left arm turns into a Katana sword and that the walkers are really Skynet’s newest models. A dying Rick confesses to Carl that he and Lori adopted him and his real birth mum is called Sarah Connor. Dun dun dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun dun.

  12. Owen De Val February 18, 2014 at 1:18 pm - Reply

Where is Rick? Carl? Michonne? Andrea? Sophia? Maggie? Paul? Ezikel? Where is EVERYONE? But seriously though who are these people? Is this a new beginning? The “very different place” Kirkman was talking about?

  13. Ross Price February 18, 2014 at 1:19 pm - Reply

Maybe that is Dwight’s wife or should I say one of Negan’s wives?!?!?!?! Who is the person holding Lucille on the cover of 126. That is the true question.

  14. justin February 18, 2014 at 1:25 pm - Reply

Omg what?! Yes! So exited! A community made entirely out of big orange storage containers! Is it just me or does the art style look really different? This is gonna be bad ass!

  15. Kordas February 18, 2014 at 1:28 pm - Reply

You know, fact that we don’t see none of our characters doesn’t mean anything. Of course they’re not going to show us on cover who survives All-Out War. We don’t know who appears in Issue 127 so we’ll be scared for every characters’ life till the end of AOW.

  16. justin February 18, 2014 at 1:30 pm - Reply

I’m so glad were done with the ugly all out war style covers! Am I the only one who hates them?

  17. AlbaMeira February 18, 2014 at 1:42 pm - Reply

This is not Negan! But seriously speaking friends. The previous issue needs to end with a bang Kirkman. Or this new group needs to be on a level of its own to match the fierce tempo set so far. I also have a bad feeling Jesus will die before all out war ends.

  18. John February 18, 2014 at 1:51 pm - Reply

I noticed that the girl in the front cover doesn’t have a right arm.

  19. Andy Souza February 18, 2014 at 1:52 pm - Reply

Is she missing her left arm? Maybe she was bitten and they had stopped the infection from spreading like when Dale was bitten…?

Jesus christ I hope negan is dead by 127. Andrew Dice Clay with a baseball bat is getting played out. At first I was thinking it was Dwights wife Sherry, but it doesn’t really look like her now that I’ve gone back to get a look at her from the comic. Somehow I think its one of the women negan keeps in his penthouse and a break away group of saviors after the fall of negan.

sooo…im pretty sure that the reason the comic is in black and white is because this is all a big coma dream rick is having. when he wakes up for real it will be an all color, welcome to oz moment….he’s 80…been in a coma for years, also it’s gonna happen in issue 499. issue 500 will just be rick roaming around like a zombie in an unaffected world slowly encountering people that look like the ones he met in the comic…we’ll all cry and hate kirkman, a few will say hes a genius, nonetheless, TWD will be taught in schools after that. amen. I’m from chattanooga, TN.

  40. SlipS February 19, 2014 at 2:05 am - Reply

If she kinda looks like Laurie how the hell did they end up in DC? would love to see that. Im still perplexed by this, maybe this is a branch off to a whole new set of characters like the walking dead spinoff coming out soon? maybe to build some hype for that? Kindaaa thinkin this isnt a part of all out war…. but If the Survivors are all dead i’m trying hard drugs +_+

  41. Corey Webster February 19, 2014 at 4:55 am - Reply

Whoever the hell these people are on this cover (and we could seriously debate and speculate what has happened to Rick et al until the cows come home, ie until this issue is in our hands this May), the main thing that jumps out for me from this cover is that there appears to finally be a FEMALE-LED group. So far, all the key survivor groups that I can think of have been let by dudes. Finally, an end to the patriarchy in the post-apocalypse world, LOL!

  42. Josh February 19, 2014 at 6:45 am - Reply

This new girl (leader?) is missing her left arm……Rick is missing his right…..sounds like a pair to me. I’m guessing the two eventually hook up. Maybe this is something that lasts for Rick…something that he and Carl needs. If this shot in the dark ends up true, I wonder what that means for Andrea. Will she be a casualty from Negan’s war?

If this is any previously known character then it is Lilly (the chick who shot lori)
If you remember correctly she ran into the prison with the rest of the group that attacked the prison. She has brown hair and in her 30s. Seems like a good match to me

    • 2YourScatteredBodies . February 19, 2014 at 2:31 pm - Reply

That would be interesting since we don’t know what happened to them. But, all of that took place in Georgia, the D.C. area is so far that it wouldn’t be very believable. If part 2 of Fall of the Governor is going to reveal the fate of Lily and the rest of Woodbury then this surprise would be spoiled 2 months before the issue comes out.

    • Robert Jacobs February 28, 2014 at 11:52 am - Reply

Kirkman stated explicitly that we will never find out what happened to the group that ran into the prison.

It’s the REAL Lucille that Negan’s bat is named after, his ex-wife (who leads another community) comes to aid the survivors against Negan! Hating him and leaving him during the early stages of outbreak when Negan made a bad call resulting in his child being killed! (Explaining his previous fond-ish behavior toward Carl) OH SHIT! But, on a serious note, I’ve always had a feeling that Lucille was named after a woman who he lost in some way during the ZA. A woman who was important to him whom he protected/failed to protect with the bat and named it after her and personified it by speaking to it as if it were a real woman, out of grief. This last detail may not matter whatsoever but I would like to point out that Negan has always worn a WOMEN’s motorcycle jacket. Only women’s jackets zip on the left.

48 ISSUES BRAHH! jp but i seriously see Glenn and Maggie’s facial features all over this girl so i wouldnt doubt your prediction. Maybe everyone is forced on the road again after all out war because negan won and this is a new camp they find? Serioulsy i dont think any one can give an accurate prediction about this thing because there is no hot or cold or right or wrong. anything is possible!!

    • Matt Stevens February 20, 2014 at 3:09 am - Reply

It could be a new group (like the kids such as Maggie’s and others) as you say. But if it is why not re-number it as Vol 2 #1. It would make a great jumping on point for new fans and with the show there is hardly a lack of them and also there are no variants right? You gotta have those for landmark issues!!

  51. mokie February 19, 2014 at 5:47 pm - Reply

    Its Sherry.
Dwights wife, also the savior John and Dwight featured in a pre-ironed flashbackN some of the people that were with him when he joined Negan…..Who he will rely on to overthrow him

  53. J. Moore February 19, 2014 at 6:34 pm - Reply

It’s Judith on the cover. She lived and had an accelerated growth due to being conceived by infected parents.

  54. mokie February 19, 2014 at 11:02 pm - Reply

I’m not 100% its Sherry but i honestly think it is…..and it would make sense
but i really do see Dwights face when i look at that guy on the right side of her.
I really hope they don’t do a time-jump or anything as drastic as some are speculating….
Personally i think thats kinda dumb and seems like a waste of so many characters we love and we’re JUST beginning to love (Jesus,Ezekiel,Dwight etc) and a sign the writer has ran out of ideas, honestly i would probably quit reading comics again lol.
My prediction if THAT IS HER ..
I think Sherry and Amber will help Dwight amongst others rebel against Negan, Simple as Her leaving the door unlocked for them to come in and F*CK HIM UP when he leasts expects it in his own bed.

Far as the cover i imagine we could get some backstory on how Dwight and his wife ended up with Negan, and that would be interesting also We have yet to see Sherry in full-color.

I have this sinking feeling that rick is going to die or everyone could die and kirkman could start over with a new group either way it would break my heart

  57. Van_Wilder_0812 February 20, 2014 at 11:26 pm - Reply

That sort of looks like Lilly from the prison attacks. It’d be awesome if she escaped and started her own group, which would explain the focus on her in the novels.

It’d also dovetail nicely with the release of the final novel in the story in March.

I’m currently starting the third book, so please no spoilers.

Rick won’t die simply because the walking dead is Rick’s story

  59. Elliott Teasdale February 22, 2014 at 3:07 pm - Reply

Personally I think it is similar to the cover with Abraham, Eugene and Rosetta. Its just another group, I have no clue on where they have came from, possibly the kingdom, or just a random group… I think most of the main cast will survive, possibly Negan too and he is hiding. I think a time jump is unlikely because say it is many years, the dead would have rotted away. Plus there is a lot of uncharted story between the time skip. Its just another group in my eyes which will take Ricks group some where else…

Team Rick and Team Negan meet on the final battlefield, ready for an end to this All Out War. Shots are fired, people on both sides fall. Carl and Andrea are back at the camp protecting those who remain behind.
Automatic weapons fire, yelling, screams of dying humans. Negan and Rick meet and begin hand to hand combat. Michonne and Jesus are involved with battles of there own.
Suddenly from all around the combatants Walkers start appearing. From every side.
The battle suddenly ends and a new battle starts. Walkers continue to pour in. The weapons fire has lured them in. They are hungry and they smell fresh blood.
More weapons fire then replaced with new sounds. Crunching, snapping of bones, wet chomps of flesh being torn apart.
Negan is surrounded by zombies and as he swings Lucille, he is overcome and buried in zombies. Gone.
Rick fights and is almost surrounded but Michoone shows up swinging her blade and making quick work of the zombies closest but there are too many. Rick sees Michonne finally overwhelmed with zombies and Rick can only watch. One comes from behind him and takes a bite from his shoulder. Jesus then shows with a machine gun and mows a path for the two of them to get out.
They somehow manage to escape, the only two left. The find themselves at the gate. Rick is bleeding badly now. His head lolls around on his shoulders. At the gate Andrea sees them, calls Carl. When they get inside Carl runs up and sees his father has been bitten. He kneels next to his father Andrea kneels next to him crying. Rick takes Carls hand, squeezes it and tells him to Carry On then he dies. Carl takes out his gun and puts it to Ricks head. he looks at Andrea, she knows what Carl is going thru. Carl looks back at Ricks lifeless body and pulls the trigger….

Saviors backstory? That’s Sherry (Dwight’s Wife) in the center, Dwight on the right (pre-iron face burn) and the big black man on the left is the Savior that Jesus fought back in issue 104. This issue must explain how the Saviors came to be and how Negan rose to power.

Thats the currently unborn child of Glenn & Maggie. There is going to be an obvious time jump afer All Out War ends. Just go look at her face, she looks half asian and a lot like Glenn.

  66. Corey Webster March 16, 2014 at 1:23 pm - Reply

I am almost done with the Governor Part Two book (I’ve read up to page 240), so this is Lilly Caul and her small group of Woodbury folks (and the same five they reference on like page 220 of the book?). She had that fingerless glove on in the book so this has got to be her. Wow, Lilly has not been in the comic since Issue #48 so this should be REALLY interesting, especially since Lilly killed Lori and Judith in the prison attack. Are they still going to be at the kindler, gentler, Governor-less Woodbury and thus in Georgia? If so, then no way they’ll cross paths with Rick I guess. Killing Lori and Judith must have been messing with Lilly’s head all this time and weighing on her conscience, eh. Cool how the comic and the novel storylines are synching up to an extent…

  67. Gus Nunez March 16, 2014 at 10:47 pm - Reply

maybe rick’s storyline ends with all out war, with him dying obviously after killing negan. And this new issue could be the zombie apocalypse from another point of view and a female protagonist, and do like four volumes on her story and later on she will meet Carl or something like that, i really think its time to end Rick’s storyline because the zombies apocalypse is around the whole world and he cant be the only one with a cool story

Before the hilltop colony and the Alexandria safe zone, were under negans rule there was another place with the same rule. They decided to rebel and those on the cover r survivors from the rebellion and they go back to help defeat negan and saviors
