PLS why you have to kill of Rick .. Kirkman! -_-

Hrm.. Who is this person and why are is the cover sideways?

  3. Daniel Houchins March 13, 2014 at 10:29 am - Reply

I want to know who the girl (and her companions) are and how they play into the overall story. It’s looking like we’ll be seeing an entirely new group of characters after All Out War based on the cover of 127, but I really doubt that Rick, Carl, and some of the other major characters will be killed off.

My guess is that we’ll get a couple issues or a volume of these new characters before seeing them integrated into Rick’s group somehow.

  4. Drew March 13, 2014 at 10:30 am - Reply

My guess is that Dwight didn’t gunk up the arrow. His excuse will be him echoing the line he gave earlier in the issue that the walker gunk will throw off the weight of the bolts. I know Kirkman is crazy but he is not going to kill off Rick just like he’s not killing off Daryl on the TV show. I know that mantra of TWD is that “no character is safe” but these two characters basically define what the brand is. Nobody wants to be the person to ruin a brand, especially the creator of said brand.

    • Daniel Houchins March 13, 2014 at 10:42 am - Reply

I don’t think Rick is 100% immune to being killed off by Kirkman, but I do believe that he will be around for many, many more issues to come.

I actually want to see Rick die. But not now. There are many more things that need to happen. He has to get a weapon for his stub. And some characters like Andrea/Michonne need to die, cause I want to see how he reacts. But getting killed just like that is pretty lame, considering he’s the protagonist and a favorite charater to many fans. I want him to go out in an epic way, somewhere in issue 200. Maybe while saving Carl or something like that.

      Agree with me?

I’m thinking she is part of a group of Savior dissenters. This is one of Negan’s wives. She has the same hairstyle as one of the wives we see in 105. You can only see the back of her head though in issue 105 and we haven’t seen her since, so my theory is not exactly airtight.

I think it’s Sophia. Kirkman might finally be jumping ahead in the story line. Rick might die, so where will that leave the story?

  9. A_Hidell March 13, 2014 at 10:52 am - Reply

Post 125 will be a whole new set of characters to go with the new TV spin off. Its the end of all these characters one way or another. Evident they’ve run out of steam with Rick and Co after the length of this Negan story…which is sad because there are a million and one things they can do with the characters still rather than a constant cycle of Governor-style villains and stories.

    • joe March 13, 2014 at 12:33 pm - Reply

Besides negan name a governor esque villian?

    • Melinda Bradley March 14, 2014 at 6:24 am - Reply

Negan and Blake are not even in the same league! I love them both, but Negan makes the gov look like a boy scout…I ADORE Kirkman’s villains. I cant see how you think there’s a “constant cycle of Governor-style villains and stories.” Over ten years, there have only been two nutcase leaders. Really oughtta read the Woodbury books too.. it gives a whole new perspective on the scum bag governor!!(not to mention the added perks of easter eggs and Gov’s story is literally MIND BLOWING)but, yeah… no way are these two men alike aside from being megalomaniacal sociopaths!

  12. joe March 13, 2014 at 12:26 pm - Reply

If Rick were to die it would conclude in the same issue non cliffhanger style kinda like Lori you knew she was dead

  13. Rick Bislich March 13, 2014 at 12:31 pm - Reply

Dwight shooting Rick is a red herring, as is all this hooplah about this new group. Rick dying at this point would be predictable and expected. So why not throw a curve ball like bring him closer to death than ever and then keep him alive in coincidence with some other twist? We have seen so many other people get zombie guts and blood all over themselves and possibly in their mouths, eyes, noses, and even wounds? Up until now, we have lived with the convention that bodily fluids do not carry the “pathogen”. If so, then Rick would simply catch an ordinary infection that, if treated properly, could just be cured from his system. OR this could be a game-changer. But I think there’s still more to do with Team Rick and its patriarch, but the new group could be a way to take a break from Team Rick for awhile and maybe even set things up for the TV spin-off. I REALLY hope they don’t kill Rick, or if they do then it coincides with a sizeable time-skip and Carl is the new protagonist.

  14. marco March 13, 2014 at 12:45 pm - Reply

It is LILY !!!!! and Rick will have a “deja vu” impression, but Lily
will rocognize her , she has seen the faces of Michonne and Rick as
    stated in the novels.

Looks like Dwight’s wife to me.

Hmm, I didn’t see the text below.
“After all this time, she should be more prepared.”
Interesting. Well, that seems to imply this is someone we’ve seen before… I can’t really think of anyone looking like her currently, so perhaps there actually WILL be a timeskip of some sort, and we’re looking at Rosalita (or whatever the fuck her name is. Eugene’s crush.) or someone?
Or (just to throw a ridiculous, wild theory out there) maybe this is the woman who killed the Governor, and some of their group somehow escaped against all odds.
I have no real idea, but of course, I look forwards to finding out!

  16. Jason Thomas March 13, 2014 at 1:18 pm - Reply

Perhaps one of Negan’s wives or Lilly Caul .

  17. Dylan Cooper March 13, 2014 at 1:22 pm - Reply

i think rick is gonna die because Robert Kirkman said he will kill off rick in the show and comic eventually and i think daryl is gonna die within this season….and i think it will be cool to have lilly come back into the series…

    • Robvious23 March 27, 2014 at 8:30 am - Reply

All out war has been the best story arc yet in my opinion. It would be safe to kill rick now. Where as season 4 part two has been really weak, killing Daryl off would bead dangerous move, I don’t think they’re willing to do it. I’m expecting an epic cliff hanger to end terminus.

i think shes the person on the cover of #126 i think she might kill negan

Could it be the group of Saviors who are revolting against Negan back at the compound??? Or a time jump for our lead characters?

  21. Nicholas March 13, 2014 at 2:13 pm - Reply

Looks a lot like Lauren Cohan (TV show Maggie). But I’m leaning towards a new group of survivors. Seeing Lilly come back would be very interesting though.

  22. Greg March 13, 2014 at 3:32 pm - Reply

If, Rick and his group didn’t make it in the all out war. Who is going to be in the front cover of Compendium 3?

    • RussBurlingame March 13, 2014 at 7:01 pm - Reply

IF that were the case (I think we’ll lose Rick but not the others), I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rick cover the book anyway since he’s the icon.

OR, the new group up top and Rick and his group zombie-reflected on the bottom.

  23. Robert Jacobs March 13, 2014 at 3:40 pm - Reply

A lot of people are saying Lilly Caul, was there some closure to the members of Woodbury who ran into the prison? I thought Kirkman was done with their story. Unless it was addressed in the Fall of the Governor. Can anyone confirm that?

  24. Ty Cheman March 13, 2014 at 3:47 pm - Reply

If it is Negan/Dwight’s woman; that would be an understandable entrance to at least connect the story in a good way, hopefully that gives us hope our originals live into Volume 22. the 126 cover looks to be Car with negan’s bat

I would LOVE it if it was Lilly!! She deserves to be back in the comic, if she survived the prison! What if she rebuilt it? Made it safer and they go BACK to the prison, that would be pretty cool!

This is definetly a new person who has been sheltered Ina community for a long time’ which explains “After all this time, she should be more prepared.” My guess is it’s either some unknown character from our communities or some new survivor from the obviously new survivors from cover 127.

  29. Dexter Bateman March 13, 2014 at 6:22 pm - Reply

It’d be pretty interesting if this was the wife of Jeffery Grimes. Think about it, think if Jeffery had a wife and he was heard to have a bit of a crush on lory as mentioned earlier in the comics. It’d be interesting to see rick and this new girl meet up. We could then really see if Jeffery is alive or dead…

Perhaps the first page of 127 will be from the las page of #48 and then the rest is of Lilly and the group getting out of the prison… Also, I don’t have the issue in front of me but if there’s any possibility of Judith actually surviving the fall with Lori then I would say that Lilly leAves the prison to go back for her….

Great cover art! This is Lilly Caul- she’s got on her signature fingerless glove that she had on in the most recent novel. Now that I’m almost done with the newest novel, I really like how the entire series of them so far have centered around Lilly’s experiences. Cool to see Lilly back in the comics after so many years, can’t wait to see how her storyline will play out post-Governor. Hey, maybe the Saviors and Survivors all killed each other in the insanity of the All Out War story arc and the comic will have nothing to do anymore with them, LOL.

  39. Razorback March 16, 2014 at 9:51 pm - Reply

To anyone wondering, this is Lilly Caul. If you’ve read the “Fall of the Governor” you should know what happens to Lilly and the Woodbury group after she kills the Governor.

Her and a few survivors escape the prison, and she becomes the new leader of Woodbury. Also, it states that only 6 people survived the prison assault including her. This means the 6 on the cover of Issue #127 must be them.

  40. Justin March 16, 2014 at 11:44 pm - Reply

I thought it could be Lily too

  41. Stuart Ormston March 17, 2014 at 9:26 am - Reply

Kirkman, said something in the recent letter hacks, about having a plan for Rick and not wanting to take the story off to follow Negan around, i know you have to take letter hacks with a pinch of salt but it seamed real enough to me, i cant be the only one that read that right?

  42. James March 17, 2014 at 1:27 pm - Reply

Before the hilltop colony and the Alexandria safe zone, were under negans rule there was another place with the same rule. They decided to rebel and those on the cover r survivors from the rebellion and they go back to help defeat negan and the saviors

  43. justin March 17, 2014 at 9:07 pm - Reply

a lot of people are saying Lilly but obviously whatevers going on in 127 and 126 it has to connect to the current story so why would Lilly go to dc? and what are the odds of her running into any of the groups currently in the story?

  44. Anthony Ripley March 18, 2014 at 10:08 am - Reply

keep in mind, our beloved group has traveled to washington DC and for Lily to also go there would be a bit of a stretch.

  46. J. Moore March 18, 2014 at 10:26 pm - Reply

Lilly making her way from GA to VA years later would be too much of a coincidence and I don’t think they would cutaway to just randomly talk about the Woodbury remnants. My guess is she’s someone new. They will spend a few issues following some new group before they collide with our existing group.

  47. Greg March 19, 2014 at 5:06 pm - Reply

I really hope it’s not Lilly because If, Rick finds out she is still alive. Rick will kill Lilly for killing his wife and his baby. my vote is Sherry.
