Is TWD Just Rick’s Dream?

SPOILER ALERT?

Ever since Robert went on the record as saying he had an end in mind for The Walking Dead, speculation has been rampant as to just how it would all go down. And there’s one theory that we see OVER and OVER again, in regards to both the show and the comic, and that is that this whole thing is just Rick’s nightmare while he lies comatose in the hospital and that the end of The Walking Dead will be Rick waking up. Depending on your love of The Twilight Zone, you might even go a step further and say he wakes up in an abandoned hospital in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

Well it all came to a head this week when UPROXX demanded that Robert go on the record that this is NOT how TWD will end.

“We’re not asking for a huge press conference. Or a lengthy explanation. Just a short statement on the record that The Walking Dead will not end that way. Do us that solid.”

So we sent Robert the article.

Of course. It’s not Robert’s style to NOT f–k with his fans a little bit.

So there you have it! Not in a coma. Which is obvious because we ALL know that The Walking Dead is all just an autistic boy’s fantasy based on his snow globe.

If it’s all a dream, Kirkman’s got plenty of time to come to his senses & correct that ending!

“Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?”

He doesn’t wake up in the hospital. The end of the series (TV and comic) will be Rick waking up in Morgans house, after getting knocked out with the shovel.

I think it would be funny if Rick woke up from The Walking Dead dream. He’s back in his house and Lori is getting out of the shower and she asks him if he’s OK. “Did you have a bad dream?”
Total Dallas Pam/Bobby ending – BAM!

Rick is NOT dreaming. Lori fainted and hit her head when she found out Rick was shot and it’s her dream. She dreamed she died so now she’s dreaming everything from Rick’s perspective. Or some other equally unlikely stupid plot guess.

Kirkman can’t end the show that way . That’s a cheap way out

They did an ending somewhat like this in cod zombies, it was such a cheap way to end the story line, I am really happy they are not making an ending like this.

It is happening, it won’t end, let the guys keep the story line. Eventually the communities will deal with zombies as part of human nature, a society will recover the levels and standards that we are now, my question is , maybe better world? Rick will die, old enough, I just enjoy the process, thanks TWD team!

Well since this isn’t a court of law and Robert Kirkman isn’t required to tell the truth….Do you think even if it’s true about this all being a nightmare Rick is having in a coma he would give away the end and admit to that?
