We at Skybound were shocked and saddened to watch PewDiePie’s recent videos. It is truly disheartening to see someone who you love and respect create content that is hurtful to so many. While we wholeheartedly disagree with the views being espoused, we acknowledge the rights of Felix and all artists to express themselves freely. We also support people’s right to choose, and we choose to join and support our friends at Maker and YouTube in separating ourselves from Felix.

I genuinely think this is the worst idea ever. I understand wanting to distance yourselves from anti-semetism, but cancelling one of the best YouTube Red series is not the way to do it. So many people have worked on Scare PewDiePie, and so many resources have been put into the project, and so many people loved the first season of the show.
It is a shame to throw it all away, and make all the hard work for granted. So I, and the many people supporting my statement, would kindly ask you to reconsider, and at least get the show back on track.
Also, if you don’t want to support Felix with money from the show, I think, if you contacted him, he would be totally ok with not getting revenue from the show, if he himself and his fanscan enjoy the show.
