MESSAGE REGARDING CURRENT STATUS OF THE WALKING DEAD: THE TELLTALE DEFINITIVE SERIES ON PLAYSTATION® 4
First, we’d like to give our sincere thanks for your support and for being a fan! We are honored to be able to be part of Clementine’s journey and could not have done it without you.
However, we are aware that there are currently major game-breaking bugs that are affecting the Playstation® 4 version of TWD: TT Definitive Series. Notably, while we had extensively tested pre-release copies of the game, a Day 1 patch had the unintended side effect of preventing the full seasons and other content from properly downloading. Note: this bug does not affect any other platform.
Skybound is working closely with the StillNotBitten team and our PlayStation® partners to issue a patch to rectify this problem immediately. We expect to publicly release a patch that will be coming out shortly and will message this as soon it’s available.

I’m not sure about that issue either, there’s no trophys to unlock for it and I guess we should wait for a update or free dlc
I would like to mention another bug in TWD definitive series. In the final season there is moments when you are inside the school. Piano music is being played in the background, even after the character’s stops playing. If you could fix this that would be awesome

I don’t if the definitive series are going to have more updates, but, I would like to know how can I fix a black screen bug on the first episode of the final season on PS4. This happens right after the intro; I can hear sound but I can’t play because the screen goes completely black and I can’t control it. I’ve tried restarting the episode several times, but, it still happening.
Please let me know how to fix it so I can finish the story.

not only are you delivering the merch from preorders separately months after they were supposed to arrive bcs something went wrong w/the quality, you can’t even get your fucking game to work. really looking forward to finally getting my copy, can’t wait to play the walking dead again w/yet another filter slapped over it. i clearly spent my money wisely. i should’ve stopped spending money on you after you released the embarrassing game that is season 3. i used to really like your series, it’s honestly a shame.
In season 4 when you meet Louis in episode1, the piano keeps playing in the background. At the end of episode one, with Marlon and Brody, there are lines missing. During season 2 when I replayed episode 5, my choices changed except for the last one so i shot Kenny but in still with him
Yeah the same thing happened to me with Louis. Is it fixed yet and if it isnt,does the music continue through the whole episode? And if it does,does it do it for ALL the episodes,no matter when a character is speaking or Louis is nowhere near the piano?

Dear Team, I am in Final Season – Episode 1 (right after the Intro with music and credits) and…my screen gets black. I have moved my remote control, touch all buttons and nothing works…everything is black. The menu button works, I can change the game settings but when I go back to the actual game, the screen remains black. I have maintained the game for 30 minutes and nothing. I have watched Youtube and it is the scene where Clementine is handcuffed to a bed, right after the car accident and the intro. I play the game in a PS4 PRO in EMEA (Spain), original game. Thanks. and please fixit asap. I love the series.

Espero que estés muy bien.
El problema de las pantallas en negro es un bug generalizado para todos los jugadores de PS4 (normal / pro) y Nintendo Switch. La única versión que parece funcionar bien es la de Xbox.
Envié un ticket a Support https://help.skybound.com/support/home con imágenes y video de los errores y me han respondido diciendo que están arreglando todos los fallos y que “pronto” lanzarán un parche para arreglarlo.
Lo único que podemos hacer por el momento es enviar tickets a Support para que los transmitan a los programadores y solucionen el programa lo antes posible. Así me lo han transmitido ellos mediante su twitter oficial https://twitter.com/skyboundgames/status/1174422519622692864

Hola Jose. No, no se me ha solucionado porque aún no han sacado ningún parche. Esta es la tercera semana a la espera de un nuevo parche. Envié un ticket a Support – te animo a que hagas lo mismo. Me cerraron el ticket hace un par de días y no me dieron ningún tipo de solución. Voy a esperar otras dos semanas y, si no se soluciona voy a pedirles que me entreguen un redeem code o algo, porque me he gastado 45€ y no sirve para nada el juego. Está absolutamente roto.

Hi skybound there is a serious sound quality issue with season 2 of the walking dead and a major black screen glitch. I hope you are able to fix these issues, I just want to be able to play clementines story. Thanks. 🙂
My partner and I were using shareplay to play the series together and it worked for the first day but now it just says for them that it isn’t released in his country or region and we’re both In the UK, why did it work the first day only to be blocked afterwards?

I bought the walking dead telltale series and I finished all the seasons then went to play 400 days but there isn’t any option to play it?
My gay lover and I do not understand why we can’t move past episode 1!!!!! The screen goes black, I have to constantly reset the damn game!!! When we first started playing, we would get naked in front of the tv, under our faux tiger blanket, while eating Pringle’s and salsa. My lover, Charles Joseph Hurst jr, would lovingly rub my shoulders while I eagerly waited for the goddamn PlayStation to download from the disc. He’d nibble on my earlobes, then my neck and finally try to give me a reach around but at that moment, the download was complete, so I smacked his hands away and started the game.

Im at the train part on season 1 episode 3. I cant progress any further because my curser will only move about 2 thirds across so i cant flip the third switch hence i cant continue
Just want to report a major issue, Season 2 has volume problems. the music is way too high, and even going into the menus to turnit down all the way does nothing to fix it sadly.

Hi Skybound can you try and fix the audio for season 2 I’m having a hard time hearing characters talk the music is to loud, turning it down doesn’t work and the Walker sound effects are really loud.

I’ve just purchased the disc version of the definitive collection and have been having problems with it not auto saving – I have seen the save icon but when I quit and reload, it’s starting me from episode one again.
Volume on season 2 is so loud. Tried turning musoc all the way down, did nothing. Music still played. Loudly. Tried restarting my game, tried turning volume down on definitive menu, did nothing. Walker noises make hearing the characters impossible. I love these games and I actually had all of them separately, then I bought this. Wanted to replay Clem’s story. Please fix the sound issue

Que tal Guillermo,no creó que encuentren solución a corto plazo, estuve comprobando en varias webs y es un error generalizado,lo único que cambia es en el capítulo que te pasar.en vie un ticket y no me respondieron,si encuentro algún apaño o remedio avisaré aquí pero tiene pinta muy mala.habra que pedir devolución o venderlo y es una pena por qué me gustaba el juego.lo único que sé es que no van a ver más mi dinero,tenía el baldurs reservado y lo anule no sea que me pase lo mismo.por lo menos podían pedir disculpas .

This is an utter disgrace how the game was released on PS4 in this state. I came off towards the end of episode 2 of season one because I had to go out. I loaded the game up later and when I press continue it tries to make me start episode 3. I haven’t even finished 2!!!! If I click stats it says I made the choice not to steal or kill the brothers. I haven’t even made those choices yet!!! How has this happened?

Fix the buttons for the game. It says Press X on the start but when I tried to press X… it doesn’t do anything but when I tried to press O, it worked. It also happened in Season 1 (which I’ve already completed), I pressed O when the instruction stated to press X. Also, please work on Season 2 buttons as well. I can’t play it when I tried to start the game and I can’t press X either when I tried to import my save data from Season 1. I tried to press O, but it went back to the episode menu. Please fix this ASAP. I need to start my Season 2.

I am currently playing the game I’m on season 2 and it is fully updated but the sound is still messed up for me, it was the same way in the first season. The background sound and music is way to loud to where you can’t hear the characters voices. I’ve tried turning the music volume down all the way and is still just as loud.
Al final voy a conseguir el platino del twd definitive series pero no porque skybound games haga bien su trabajo,sino porque un amigo mio me lo esta haciendo en su playstation 4 pues a partir de ahora voy a poner mi grano de arena y no voy a comprar un juego de skybound games trabajen directamente o indirectamente,que les den por culo a esta gentuza y ojala se vayan a la mierda como telltale games
Hey im playing the definitive edition and i am in the final season and it only shows the first episode. When i try to continue the game it shows the episode screen and it’s missing the last 3 episodes. I can’t even exit the screen cause it bugs out. Please fix it. Ps4 btw

I’m a big walking dead fan and a big fan of the walking dead telltale series I got the walking dead the telltale defintive series and had no issues with any other the seasons accept season 4 the final season all I got and installed episode one and I completed but I’m stuck and can’t do everything else and episode 2, 3 and 4 are missing and I don’t know what to do all I need to do is complete them episodes and I platinum it I platinum ever one apart from this one so can someone please tell how to fix this issue kind regards Rad
Hay un error en la ultima temporada “Final Sea son” en el capítulo uno luego de la intro acabando la canción la pantalla se queda en negro en si el juego sigue pero el video no. Solo pasa en PS4 -.-

No merece la pena para nada, puedes jugar todas las temporadas perfectamente si, pero al llegar a la última temporada y comenzar el primer capítulo después de la introducción se queda la pantalla en negro y no te deja jugar más… En mi opinión un fraude!! Y me jode porque el juego me costó 40€… Y me estaba gustando pero enfin para la próxima ya lo se…
Exactamente me pasa lo mismo. Compré este juego precisamente por la última temporada y no puedo jugarla. tengo una PS4 Pro. Me siento estafado y no me devuelven el dinero.
Ya solucioné el problema. Tienes que pasarte esa pantalla en negro “a ciegas” (a través de un video de Youtube). Es posible hacerlo porque es un espacio pequeño y hay que hacer pocas cosas sencillas. Cuando lo logres, se guardará la partida automáticamente, sales, vuelves a entrar y podrás jugar. Eso aí, el resto de capítulos también tiene muchos bugs molestos aunque puedes jugae.
Seguí tu consejo y funcionó. Solo que al salir del edificio por fin cargó la imagen

Hey im playing the definitive edition and I am in the final season and it only shows the first episode. I’m having major problems with the Walking Dead Difinitive edition and I play on the PS4. I played Season 1 in entirely perfectly fine and it went without any issues. The issues started when I went over to Season 2. I started my play through, was able to update my save file from Season 1, and made it all the way to Chapter 2. Flash forward to when I go back into the game after going to sleep, my save files are gone!
Season 1 it’s as if it never happened, completely deleted. Season 2 it’s as if I never even started. I lost my progress after logging back in. I was horrified.
So I said screw it and went to Season 4. I double checked my own profile and I was definitly on my own. I was careful to quit after a recent save and close out the application. When I logged on the next morning, my save file was on SOMEONE ELSES PROFILE who was nowhere near me. I am now playing on theres because I’m so agitated but I wish I could fix these save issues.
Btw my ps4 went completely into Safe mode while playing season 1 me season 2. I don’t even know if you’ll fix it but I’m considering factory resetting everything but I’m so agitated it’s insane.
I loved this game and wanted to finish but I’m unsure if I’ll be able to now because my games save files just dissapear.

WILL THE WALKING DEAD DEFINITIVE EDITION BE AVAILABLE ON STEAM?
I could play The Walking Dead Definitive Series(ps4 bd ver) Season 1 & Season 3: New Frontier, but couldn’t play season 2.
I entered the “chapter select” section, and I was always blocked in “Import Season 1 Save” section. When I clicked the “OK” ,there were no response all the time.
What happened? I can’t play season 2??? So Sad.
I had a problem playing the walking dead definitive series because when I tried to start the first season it wouldn’t load. I had to go onto the walking dead collection and delete my saved files which meant the first season started fine.
There are too many bugs in the xbox edition of the game, will you make an update to fix those bugs?

Please could your dev team fix just a few more bugs in the definitive series. What mostly needs fix is S4 and possibly S2. The fans need this.
Xbox one has no 400 days, i purchased definitive edition for 400 days & season 4. I have all other seasons on different platforms so this is quite displaeasing to say the least …… Please fix the many bugs & issues many of us are STILL PLAGUED WITH! We love your game but for crying out loud skybound, many of us bought these games previously and expected this definitive version of the entire walking dead episoides! Plaese get back to us when you can make this right by the consumers,, pretty please with hard-earned monies on top?
