This week we begin our recap and exploration of the comics! Your favorite host of your favorite podcast about your favorite show, Clarke Wolfe, is off on a short tour about the country and while she’s gone and we schedule the next round of interviews with the producers, cast, and crew of the show—we’ve invited internet and real world comedian Mike Falzone—who’s a blank slate of pop culture non-knowledge to read his first comic books since he was a kid and get his recap, reactions, thoughts, and take on the original series. This week we’re tackling Volume 1 of the comics—A Darkness Surrounds Him—by Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta. We’ll be tackling the first three volumes for the next 3 weeks while patiently awaiting our fearless leader’s return and delving back into the show!
