Stefano’s inks were really clean. I liked it. Wonder if Charlie’s style has changed at all over the years.
Yeah, it feels disloyal to Charlie as I know he loves inking his own work but I loved what Stefano did. Hope he comes back one day.
Really??? A ‘brown rick grimes ” ?? This is very insulting to the fans of this comic.. If they killed off batman and 2 issues later had.a. “New” superhero. Wearing batmans suit but instead of batman he was called ratman people would flip out!! So.doing that here with this.bootleg indian.rick grimes is VERY insulting.to us.fans.who.actually buy the comics.. It seems lazy..

Honestly, though, this could just be because Adlard has ALWAYS had trouble with faces. Seriously, over the years there’s been at least many people who look like Rick. He has a sort of “template” style that makes a lot of character facial features look identical.
That’s a whole lot of assumption for one look at a new character. If this guy is still wearing his badge after all these years in the apocalypse, ima thinking he’s going to be drastically different from Rick. And even the appreance can be misguiding. He may look like Rick, but may look completely different from other angles. I can already see difference. Don’t just make assumptions like this. If you find the kinda thing you described insulting, then I’m Sure that writers and artists find these kind of assumptions at Least as insulting in return.
I have a theory, I think there’s gonna be a time jump between issues #192 and #193, looking at the cover of issue #194, sheriff Kapoor looks a lot like Mercer, maybe Mercer’s last name is “Kapoor” and he looks like Rick Grimes because he is honoring him. Look at the gun, it’s a revolver, a revolver in a zombie apocalypse world is not a good weapon, that’s why I think there’s gonna be a time jump because they are getting close to a point where they don’t need to use great weapons or armor to fight zombies anymore and now they use revolvers to keep things in peace between people at the Commonwealth.
