The saviors take over Alexandria. They lock Rick and Andrea in a room, give them a single gun and will only let one leave the room.

When Michonne said on the tv show to Rick “we are the ones that survive” , it reminded me of the comic. My first thought was that one of the people in one of these two couples was going to die in next month or two.
Then this cover comes out.
I think the decision is to abandon Alexandria…
I think they’re just faced with the choice of either staying in Alexandria to fight the saviors or leaving to find somewhere else… This is just extra hype, I’m sure nothing THAT major is about to happen.
Maybe one of the main survivors was bitten and Rick is about to care of business… though I’d hate for that to happen… feels too cheap.

I think Negan will rejoin the Saviours and come for Rick. Rick has to put his faith in NuNegan being on the side of Alexandria even though the Saviours appear to have the upper hand. I hope it ends with Sherry, John and Tara getting the Spenser treatment.

Maybe Negan turned on rick and joined the saviors and they have to either kill him or keep him alive and follow their no more killing rule, or a main character gets bitten and they have to either kill them or wait.
Two ideas ….maybe Carl was bitten ? That truly would suck.
Or since covers have been mostly metaphoric lately, maybe this one is just indicating closing the door on Alexandria.

You’re not like the lucky ignorant who are blissfully so… you’re stupid but just smart enough to be aware that you are. So what you do is wait for the opportune moment to drop a spoiler on the unaware because it makes you feel smarter by knowing something someone else doesn’t know yet. You have to stay one step ahead and make sure people know it because you’re trying to compensate for your stupidity. If you get a negative reaction, that doesn’t bother you much because you’re used to getting negative reactions–stupidity often does.
You can take your little pleasure in knowing that you spoiled it for at least one fan, but know that it also proves that you’re proof that the strongest sperm doesn’t always win. With that being said, stay the hell away from your cousins. Better yet, don’t procreate (that means make babies) at all. There are too many of you around. My pity for you far outweighs my anger.
