Can someone explain to me the point of these? Why wouldn’t you want the action figures or the ones where you paint them yourself?
These put me in the mind of the little Army Men Toy Soldiers that were so popular back in the day & have been around for a long time. There’s some cultural history to those Toy Soldiers… I’m wondering if this is where the idea for these minis came from. Since these are not toys & meant for the adult collector, I could see the appeal.
I have to be honest & say that these don’t interest me. Neither do the Funko Pop things. BUT I would consider adding them to my TWD collection for variety.
That’s precisely what they’re supposed to be reminiscent of, I think. Toy army men.
And they have one of Carl. Now only if we had a fully painted *comic* book action figure of Carl.
I need for that Carl to be a Skybound Exclusive….not one of those regular series runs!
I need it so I can put it next to my black-and-white Negan. He’s lonely.
Yes! Please and thank you!
Neutral, what age Carl would you want in the action figure? I feel like they could make three different ones and I would by them all. Carl’s my boy!
Hell yeah! I picture young Carl with cowboy hat. Like… issue 49/50 Carl. Carl before AOW with the bandages over his eyes with hat, with that nifty little coat he had. And current Carl with his neat hipster glasses.
I wouldn’t care if it was a cash grab, I’d gladly grab my cash and throw it at whatever site is selling it until they were all mine.
Totally agree Neutral!
SKYBOUND, please tell us there’s a Carl in the works!
