Uh oh. Carl looks quite unhappy on that cover. Ugh, that breaks my heart. I mean, he got a little shovel happy with those kids, that was bad but really, he’s only doing what he’s been taught and trained to do his whole life! Rick should’ve found the town therapist a long time ago, but instead Carl’s been getting his therapy from Negan. Greeeeaaaaaaatttt.

I can’t stop looking at this cover! The walking dead is famous for having misleading covers, but I can’t help but wonder, is Carl the new darth vadar? His path is very similar! I really hope that Carl turns out good, but either way this cover is sick! Great job twd team!

It looks like Carl is wearing some sort of shoulder holster on the #137 cover. Note the black leather straps on his shoulders. They’re clearly no suspenders or a backpack. And we know that Carl is one of the 2 or 3 people we’ve seen still wielding firearms after the time jump. We’ve seen one member of Magna’s group with a rifle, Andrea has her rifle, Carl has his pistol, and the Whisperer with the sawed-off doubled barreled shotgun. Those are all the firearms we’ve seen since the time jump, everyone else seems to wield swords, daggers or spears. But, Eugene is still making ammunition.
But, back to the point; it alarm me that Carl appears to be wearing his gun on this cover.
I see that as the edge of his shirt…same as his collar. He looks like he’s equipped with rebellion.
Y’all have realized that they like to mislead us with covers every now and then, riiiight?
