I’m pretty sure she has been for a while. I think that was part of the motivation for her and Glenn deciding to move to the Hilltop in the first place.

He seems to be trying to get them to hear him out. It’s 12 issues, so maybe by issue 10, things are not going good for him so he tries to convince Hilltop to side with him.

Hopes Holly gets her revenge! I think that Kal will make a move with
Maggie hehe, is Andrea pregnant judging by the cover of issue 124, it
also seems that Maggie could be taking the leadership of Hilltop. Big
    things are coming.

Kirkman should really put some sort of arm-gear for Ricks ‘hand’.

As much as I don’t want it to happen I’m starting to have a feeling that Michonne’s time is up and that issue 120 will be her last. The cover has her right in the middle and that would be the 101st issue since she came into the story. You also don’t see her in any of the other covers released so far and the caption for 121 is “In the aftermath of the unthinkable” The unthinkable could be the death of michonne and the cover has negan right in the middle like he just finish beat someone with Lucille. Rick, Carl, Jesus, and Heath all look pretty depressed on the cover too. It’s not that I want her to die but there aren’t many main characters that we have a very strong connection with and have been in the comic very long. I feel like Robert will end up killing off an old character soon. But hopefully I’m dead wrong and Michonne doesn’t die along with some of the other main characters I like.

yeah i think u are right for “All out war to be a big suggcess rival “made to suffer” and “No way out” we need a big death that will grab hold readers but i think it will be by a straight bullett which ezikiel will feel guilty for which brings him back from the brink of shivas death

Any predictions for who’s going to be the main person in the middle of the covers for the last two issues of volume 20? I’m guessing Carl on one and Andrea on the other. Just about every main character have gotten themselves in the middle of one of the volume 20 covers except for Carl and Andrea.

I hate to say it, but The Walking Dead is starting to lag. When the Governor attacked the prison, it was HUGE. He had a tank, he decapitated Tyreese, almost everyone died in a brutal way. This is called ALL OUT WAR, but it feels like All Out Snore. Shiva’s death was pretty unexpected last issue, but that’s about it. They’re going to war against the baddest TWD villain yet, but it has still yet to shock me. I want something “Blow Your Face Off”, something that will make jump out my seat and scream. Hopefully we’ll see some of that soon.

Hi, I need help on finding this years past collection of Walking Dead comics. My brother just informed me that he has been waiting two months to get a issue of WD from the public library. Keep in mind my brother has collected comic books since he was a little boy. His finances are dwindled with medical bills from his son. I would like to surprise him with a year’s membership. This is the first place I thought to look. Thanks Caryn K.

Try Amazon for sure. Or your local comic book store.
Do you want single issues? Or Does it matter the format?

Single issues are what he use to get every month. I’ll try the comic book store first. If they don’t have them then Amazon. I didn’t think that Amazon had monthly subscription to WD. Thanks for your input.

I never had any problems with TWD comic book story lines but the current Negan “All Out War” story is just not doing it for me.

I can’t figure out if it is the way Kirkman scriptes the story per say or if the illustrations are capturing the war situation well.

We as readers are supposed to be seeing a war in zombie strewn landscapes and that is not being portrayed well by the artist or Kirkman. I will give you examples (Spoilers coming but I will avoiding spoilers as much as I can).

We have the current issue of TWD (#119) where somehow Negan got out of the trap Rick placed him in because the Kingdom’s people failed to take out a Savior’s stronghold. The scene that kind of encapsulates my feeling that Charlie Adlard’s pencils are not translating Kirkman’s script correctly is when we see grenades or explosives thrown into Rick’s compound by a released Negan and his army as they arrive on an army truck (maybe more than one truck?) and to be honest this maybe a fault of Kirkman as well as Adlard but how does Rick and his people NOT shown to have a guard or two posted watching the streets below?

Anyone every hear a real life army truck? They make a lot of noise and belch diesel smoke that can be heard miles away when there is no traffic noise. There is literally no way any large group of people can sneak up on a compound without being spotted a mile away or even further and chuck grenades all unseen.

Then the kicker to this is we see Negan in the comic book standing exposed calling into the compound. Is there no one on on Rick’s side on guard duty with a scoped rifle to take Negan out?

I am not a general, I have no military experience but even I know that comes off looking and feeling wrong to me as a reader.

It could be that Adlard’s choice in how to represent the scene in question in the comic book is at fault or that was how Kirkman wrote it and in that case they both are at fault in how these scenes are portrayed, but it really distracted me from the reading experience.

Also, where are all the roaming zombies? Don’t they follow a moving convoy in large numbers? They are not in a depopulated part of America but near Washington D.C. so Adlard not portraying zombie hordes reacting to all that commotion is also puzzling me and takes me out of the story element because I am asking all these questions about the situations I am reading in the comic book.

    ISSUE 123 SPOILERS AHEAD!

    ..

    ….

    ……..

Is Rick’s time finally up?! I’m going to be seriously pissed if so. He’ll basically have been nothing but a failed-leader (again, and again, and again) if he dies and this war goes south (again, lol. Fucking Kirkman, can be so brilliant and such an idiot at the same time)

The TV-Rick I don’t care that much about, if he died we’d have Daryl to take over, almost indisputably. Michone, Maggie, Glenn, etc.

But IF what happened in #123 is what it MAY BE…well….

That means one of the most interesting (and one of the final of the original group) is going to turn into a fucking zombie. Sorry, that won’t fly with me or a lot of other folks.

I also think it’s rather arrogant how they constantly mock longtime readers in the letters page who get upset over a major character death. I’ve been reading this since issue #1 and the letters page and some of the repetitive nonsense is starting to wear me thin. He says he has plans all the way up to issue 300, but we’re not even halfway there yet and I, for one, even as a one-eyed bastard myself, don’t want Carl to become the main focus, at least for another 100 issues or so, Rick just BARELY started considering doing something about getting his stump weaponized

For fuck’s sake, Merle isn’t exactly a great thinker and got that done virtually first-thing! Yeesh, Kirkman, when you miss the mark it REALLY misses the mark!

All that to say, I’d be happy if they started focusing on the character Jesus, Michone, and Andrea more if what might happen, happens.

Jesus is one motherfuckin’ bamf, as Neegan might say (and their little fight scene was awesome, he absolutely punked the Neeg’!)
