This week we revealed the cover to September’s Walking Dead Issue #171, which introduced us to a flamboyantly dressed machine gun-wielding new badass named “The Princess.” The issue itself is aptly named “FEAR THE PRINCESS” and asks in its description “Who is she and what does she want?” Great questions!

She’s the daughter of a mob boss. The mob boss is now reformed, forming a cult in the apocolapyse that says the new world will be forged in the blood of a new La Cosa Nostra. He puts in his daughter, his mafia PRINCESS, mind that her child will be the messiah that will bring about the new law and civilization of the world. So now, she is a scouter for her group and grows intrest in the passing group from Alexandria and decides to bring them by force to her father. And with the hint that a slaughter will come, mabye Eugene or the Don pull a Jonestown on the cult so they escape, but the Princess leaves with the Alexandrians. That’s my shot in the dark, I hope u liked it ?

She’s a “bad-ass” and ‘plays the part’ (like her Dad taught her as a child). “Don’t take nothin’ from nobody, Girl..cause YOU RULE the Kingdom…Let the people know your power, YOU are my Princess!!”

Brand new character! She was daughter of the famous rapper Lil Jon!! They were together and part of a big group until they were overran by a herd of walkers! Unfortunately her father parished in the epic fight, but he managed to save her! The few people left call her princess because that’s the only thing her father ever called her. She leads the few left now. She’s actually been watching all the groups for sometime but she is just now making her presence known to Rick. She IS best dressed, and a total badass. If she dies she doesn’t want to be the typical dark dreary zombie, she wants to spice things up. Crazy? So is she! Her father taught her to have a flair for the dramatic and it shows through her clothes and her attitude! She will will even surpass Abraham with her witty outlandish dialogue. The next best character ?
I’m calling it right now: she was a reality TV star in the Walking Dead’s universe. Once the outbreak started, she surprised everyone by revealing she was a survival nut the entire time. Now she leads a group of weaker individuals, and is pretty fed up with strangers trying to steal her stuff and kill her people. Oh, and she may be completely insane.
Fear the Princess sounds an awful lot like lot like Fear the Hunters. Is the Princess a cannibal?????

This is Stephanie and she is the leader and she pulls a gun on Eugene and he explains to her that he had to come and that his people found out on there own and gen she becomes evil and kills a big character in Issue 175

My guess would be, she is Ezekiel’s illegitimate daughter hence the title “Princess” or some kind of relation to Ezekiel maybe his sister. Motive is probably revenge for Ezekiel
Either Zachary’s daughter from the kingdom, desperate to bring back the flair and Style left garishly wanting after Ezkiel’s sudden departure. Why fear her? Well besides the machine gun and hot pink fur coat, there’s yet to be unravelled machinations hinted at the kingdom that could lead to King William’s demise …as the alliance between the Communities we’ve known fray further….

i’m very excited. I’ve been saying for months we need more stand out characters for the survivors. Hopefully she will contrast with Magna’s character and we will get two different badass females to help fill the Andrea void. But this cover reminds me of michonnes first issue. Could this be Stephanie?

Okay, here’s what I think. The Princess was a homeless poor girl before the zombie apocalypse who dreamed to be very rich and to be like a princess someday. She envied wealthy people. People with fancy clothes, sleeping in mansion with full of bodyguards which gives security and eating in a well fine dining which she don’t have to worry to feel hungry. Until the zombie apocaplyse came and the rich people abandoned their wealth. It’s her chance to break free from poverty and to feel what those people have. She went to the houses of rich people and to the malls/stores stealing clothes and fancy items while surviving. And then she met people in which later on had to owe their lives to her. It’s because of her skills and leadeship why they survived. Those people believed that she was a daughter from a very rich family. She told them one big lie. Because of that, they thought to serve and protect that girl as a real princess after all the things that she had done to them. And then their group grew bigger and they built a new community or we can also say a new kingdom. And that’s where her dreams came true. She will do everything to hold on to what she already achieved. Ready to protect the people and everything she now have. Same goes for the people ready to protect their only hope and their Princess.
By the way, I hope that the princess is Stephanie from Ohio who Eugene talked with in the radio.

The princess was a prostitute before the apocalypse but once the shit hit the fan her escort kept her ,and her fellow prostitutes, safe from harm and eventually taught them all how to survive and to show no mercy to anyone. The post-apocalypse group of hookers now lure other unsuspecting groups to them by means of radio to acquire their supplies and kill of any threats to them and their community.
My money it’s on Stephanie or Ezekiel’s daughter/sister
