CONTEST: NAME THAT SUPER DINOSAUR LETTERS COLUMN

Hi All,

I mentioned this in the last SUPER DINOSAUR lettercol, but I wanted to open it up to the world wide web before closing the contest completely.

We’re running a contest to name the letters column.  Like THE WALKING DEAD (Letter Hacks), INVINCIBLE (Invincipals), WITCH DOCTOR (Doctor’s Notes), we want SD to have a unique title that reflects the fun letters you all write in.

THE PRIZE:

One lucky contestant will get loads of free Super Dinosaur goodies, including Volume 1 signed by Robert Kirkman, the Super Dinosaur Coloring Book, a Super Dinosaur t-shirt AND an original page of artwork by co-creator and artist Jason Howard.

The Walking Dead Graphic Novels are all over the New York Times Best Sellers list!

Happy Holidays Skybounders! 

Be sure to check out this article  about how The Walking Dead is on a historic run on the NY Times Best Sellers list. It currently occupies 3 of the top 10 spots on the Graphic Novel charts! That's nuts! And we've got you to thank for it. 

Volume 15 is currently in stores, and will be available on the website in January 2012, as well as The Walking Dead Survivors Guide, Super Dinosaur volume 1 AND The Infinite volume 1. 

We've got a lot coming up in 2012, and we're really excited. We'll be kicking off the New Year at the Amazing Arizona Comic Convention and we hope to see you there!

Robert Kirkman & Jason Howard's Hit Super Dinosaur Series Gets Collected

Earlier this year, best selling author Robert Kirkman (THE WALKING DEAD, INVINCIBLE, THE INFINITE) and artist Jason Howard (ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN) created an energetic all ages hit comic starring a boy genius and a genetically modified Tyrannosaurus Rex that was met with multiple sell outs and critical acclaim. Now Image Comics is now collecting the adventures of Derek Dynamo, Super Dinosaur, and their friends into one action-packed book of awesomeness!

SUPER DINOSAUR, VOL. 1 TP will be on sale in late November, in time for holiday gift shopping. It will include all the single issues through #5, as well as the SUPER DINOSAUR ORIGIN SPECIAL #1, for only $9.99.

"Since becoming a parent, I wanted to create a comic book that parents can read with their kids or that kids can pick up and read on their own," said Kirkman. "We also wanted to create a comic that's appropriate for younger kids but doesn't talk down to them, so it will interest older readers as well!"

Two Skybound Sellouts

Debut Issue of Witch Doctor and Super Dinosaur #3 Return to Press

From stories of demonic possession to robotic dino arms, Robert Kirkman's new Skybound imprint at Image Comics has made a very promising start! Not only are WITCH DOCTOR, the grisly medical horror miniseries, and the dynamic all ages ongoing SUPER DINOSAUR getting great reviews, but they are also proving to be massively popular with fans.

While writer Brandon Seifert and artist Lukas Ketner's WITCH DOCTOR #1 may still be available through some comic book retailers, the first printing copies are limited to current stock. SUPER DINOSAUR #3, by Kirkman and his former ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN co-creator, artist Jason Howard, is also sold out at distribution level. A second printing is underway for both and will arrive back on shelves later this month.
