If the opening of this issue doesn't grab you and invest you in Conrad's back-story, you've got issues. I can't wait to see how everything ties together. And Martinbrough has some killer pages. Don't miss out!
Here's a peak at the first couple pages:
It's always a big week when THE WALKING DEAD hits the shelves but we've also got two other highly anticipated releases this week!
First, THE WALKING DEAD 113 sells itself. ALL OUT WAR is on the horizon and Robert is keeping the tension level on HIGH. Andrea is in deep s--t in 113. We have a preview up at TheWalkingDead.com.
Second up is GHOSTED #2! With a potential wrench in the plan, we get to see how Jackson deals with unexpected trouble. GHOSTED gets better and better as it goes, you don't want to miss the bus on this one, trust me. Second printing of GHOSTED #1 hits shelves as well.
And last, but certainly not least, is INVINCIBLE COMPENDIUM #2! For the reader that likes tp read their comics in giant, heaping gulps! Some say that INVINCIBLE doesn't really pick up until a bit into the run (I would argue that vehemently) but if you're THAT kind of person, this is where INVINCIBLE hits its stride full-on. The world (universe) really opens up here and we see more of the epic battles that Robert is so good at writing and Ryan is so good at illustrating. Collects issues 48-96.
The 1%! North Korea! Torture! Interracial romance! Endangered species! Members Only jackets! It's Invincible Universe #5!
And a special plug this week for BURN THE ORPHANAGE! It's not Skybound but it IS Skybound family. Former Skybound Editor and current Skybound collaborator Sina Grace's new book BURN THE ORPHANAGE is out this week! Sina teamed up with Daniel Freedman to put out a pop-culture dense Capcom/Fighting Street/Double Dragon/Side scrolling arcade game inspired brawler. It's great, go check it out!
It's not just another Invincible trade! This is THE DEATH OF EVERYONE! Collecting issues 97-102, this volume contains the epic and controversial issue 100! You have no idea how hard it was for me to just use one exclamation point on each of these sentences! It's THAT good!
