Robert took a minute off from writing Walking Dead 100 to kick things off... woo hoo!

1 – What’s a genre of comics you haven’t written that you’d like to take a stab at?

 Honestly?  At some point in the future I'm dying to do a romance comic.  Just something about normal people falling in love, no zombies, no aliens, no superheroes, just a straight human story.  So, yeah... ROMANCE.  I think it'd be cool.

This week, I am lucky enough to share SUPER DINOSAUR artist Jason Howard’s detailed process in creating the cover for September’s issue 13.  Super Dinosaur is one of my favorite books coming out, and I hope this behind-the-scenes treat will pump you up for issue 11, in-stores June 6^th!

The Walking Dead: Escape is a TWD inspired obstacle course where you get to experience the first days of the apocalypse.  This is going to be unlike anything you've ever experienced at SDCC.  We're very excited to be a part of an event such as this.

This week, I’ve been lucky enough to kick off with the cover for Thief of Thieves #7, with art by the impeccable Shawn Martinbrough and Felix Serrano.  Shawn’s provided a few words about the cover you see here, so hit the jump for more info as well as some early sketches of the cover.

'Walking Dead' Creator Stays 'Invincible' During Show's Hiatus

Comic-book writer talks to MTV News about what to expect in season three, which begins filming next week.

Robert Kirkman is a busy man. Not only is the comic book writer and executive producer behind the flesh-craving juggernaut known as "The Walking Dead"

And not only is the game out, but it's getting great reviews! Hit the jump for some revies of the game!

The Walking Dead game also received high marks from our friends at IGN.  They gave the game an 8.5 rating.

Not only that, but based on the hot news about Thief of Thieves being optioned by AMC, it looks like we're getting a 3rd printing of Theive of Theives #1.  So cool!!  Hit the jump for a look at the cover.

Both issues will be in stores on May 5th. The same day issue #4 hits comic shops.

It’s been a pipe dream here at the Skybound offices to get the epic Walking Dead Compendium printed hard bound, bible-style… and we’ve finally done it.

For the first time ever, we’re going to have the 48-issue, 1,000+ page monster done as a hardcover with a gold embossed logo, featuring a new cover illustration by Charlie Adlard.

While we won’t have all of these ready until San Diego Comic-Con, come to SKYBOUND BOOTH #310 at Emerald City Comic-Con this weekend, and take one home with you.  Rumor has it that there will be one hundred of these bad boys available at the show, and that we’ll be selling them for only $100.
