Who we are

Robert Kirkman, Partner
Twitter: RobertKirkman

Robert Kirkman is a New York Times bestselling author known for being the cultural zeitgeist of the comic book industry. He maintains one prerogative in every undertaking: quality. It is Kirkman’s belief that good people who produce good writing and good ideas make comics people love. Kirkman was recently made partner at Image Comics, and continues to revive the industry with refreshing new characters.

Sean Mackiewicz, Editorial Director
Twitter: SeanMackiewicz

Sean edited superheroes for DC Comics and made love for Harlequin Books. He’d like things to be a little more professional at Skybound.

Shawn Kirkham, Director of Business Development
Twitter: BigClutch

Shawn comes to us from the music industry and brings with him a life long passion for comics.  He also loves Lego. And cupcakes. And whiskey. All at the same time if possible.

Brian Huntington, Online Editorial Director
Twitter: NotZombies

Brian has a background in social media, online publishing, writing, pop culture, and zombies. Skybound decided it would be a good idea to let him do all these things at the same time. Granted, we had to child-proof the office.

June Alian, Publicity Director

If you read about Skybound somewhere, it’s because June called someone and threatened to murder their entire family if they didn’t give us some press. I’M JUST KIDDING! She uses her social tact, which is limitless. Her last name is not pronounced “ALIEN.” Found that out the hard way.

Helen Leigh, Editorial Assistant

Helen moved up in the world. From office manager (and much more) to Sean’s Editorial assistant. She still enjoys making things happen. And curmudgeonliness. And still with the big words.

Lizzy Iverson, Development Coordinator

Lizzy lends many important qualities to the Skybound office, including daily fun facts, detailed tea knowledge, and filmmaking expertise. Her first job ever was at a comic book store, so she can also bag comics with mad speed and skill.

Hello, I bought the men’s science dog t-shirt at comic con in a medium. It was large because I am a woman. I got really excited when I saw the online store had the white science dog shirt in woman’s sizes. When I did an order of Christmas gifts I also ordered a woman’s science dog t-shirt in a medium thinking it would fit better. I was very disappointment was I received the order and found out the woman’s medium was exactly the same as the men’s size medium. Why advertise for woman’s sizes if they are exactly the same as the men’s. This is very misleading and I now have paid for two of the exact same shirts. For me to return it and pay shipping is not worth my time or money. I am very disappointed. My order number was #7673. I also ordered an item that said was in stock online and was refunded money for that as it was out of stock. Not happy with my order at all. Will not be ordering an clothing items from skybound anymore.

Hey Amanda. Were you able to get in touch with someone? Apologies for the delay, this isn’t the best page to post questions to… Please shoot us a message at the Skybound Facebook page and we can make it right. The women’s shirts are usually much narrower and have shorter sleeves.

Hey Finch, if you didn’t order a Clem you should have gotten your Mystery Box by now, or at least an email with your tracking number. If not, please send us a message on the Skybound facebook page with your order info and I’ll check it out.

I ordered the digital version of TWD #1 for 500 points as part of your new insider rewards program. You sent the link to my inbox, but it will not load, no matter what I try!!! How may I get a different link, or can you send it directly to IBooks or Kindle? I REALLY want to get this comic, and my points have already been deducted!!! Thanks guys, I LOVE TWD!!!
